Green Real Estate Education has expanded from training those in the real estate industry to helping government and businesses to begin a certification process. Green Real Estate Education who has trained over 6,000 has now developed a course to begin a certification process to become green oriented and learn ways to save energy and position their business in the new green arena. The company defines concepts as corporate responsibility and teaches how to design an in house program that can save on utility bills and how to engage their employees to get involved.

The course is titled, “ CSR, Green Business Practices and will be offered on site and on line in a text format and through colleges." Kerry Mitchell, President

of Green Real Estate Education says CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) is a topic most businesses have interest in today. “Businesses are beginning to hear about energy savings and how their supply chains and the way they conduct business may be damaging the environment.” says Mitchell. “ Business decisions will reflect to their stakeholders their positioning in the new green economy.”

Green Real Estate Education who keeps their courses under $100, offers certification teaching green building concepts to governments in the real estate arena. They educate on what products and systems can promote healthier indoor air quality and how to locate resources for tax incentives for green renovations. Mitchell says that this course is more from an internal viewpoint, establishing company policies and offers practical ways for businesses to screen their suppliers, and how to go green. It is their first level and will be followed up with a certification program to teach monitoring utility bills, recycling, and waste management techniques to save a business on their bottom line.

Green Real Estate Education is scheduled to educate more than 10,000 in green building by 2011.Their courses are offered on line and in colleges nationwide. The company was established in 2006. For more information: www.greenrealestateeducation.com
