- Great Wall Airlines, an international all-cargo airline based in Shanghai, announced its appointment of Wallace Air Cargo Group Inc., as its general sales agent in North America for the airline's new B747-400 freighter services from Chicago and Seattle to Seoul and Shanghai.

"Ned Wallace and his team have become a fixture in the U.S. airfreight industry. We are

proud and privileged to have found a partner that shares our service ethos and ambitions," said Mr. Tan Kai Ping, Great Wall's President.

Mr. Dick Augustine will head sales in the Midwest and Mr. Jack Michalek will serve the same function in the Pacific Northwest. Mr. Wylie Wong, Wallace Air's Chinese speaking sales manager will play a significant role in addressing the needs of US-based forwarders who specialize in the China trade.

Mr. Ned Wallace, Wallace Air's President, commented, "All of us are very excited at the prospect of helping to extend Great Wall's global freighter network into Seattle and Chicago. We look forward to representing a young but admirable carrier which is service-oriented and customer focused. The Great Wall management team is one of the best and most knowledgeable in the business and I am sure that US forwarders will be quite pleased with the high quality service that the airline provides."

Great Wall Airlines' new freighter flights from Chicago and Seattle to Seoul and Shanghai begin June 1, 2008. Detailed information on flight schedules and cargo reservation will be issued shortly.
