2013-12-23 13:34:48 - GNIOT Management School organized a National Conference on "Strategies for sustainable growth in the Era of Information Technology”. The motive was to make students aware about the impact of IT in industrialization and global business.
Greater Noida, December 2013:- Chief Guest Prof. K K Aggarwal-Chancellor of KR Mangalam University and Guest of Honor Mr. DS Malik- Additional Director General, Ministry of Finance were welcomed by (Dr.) Savita Mohan – Director GNIOT Management School. The conference was unveiled by Chairman- GNIOT Mr. K.L.Gupta and V.C –GNIOT -Mr. B.L. Gupta. Total 150 Research Papers were submitted for the conference including overseas submissions from Manchester University US, and Mahe Campus Dubai. The prominent Indian submissions were from Banaras Hindu University, Lucknow University, Monard University and few more. Approximately 5oo research scholars and 300 students participated in this conference. Topics discussed were importance of IT for sustainable growth, Renewable energy, Finance, HR and Marketing.

Rapid technological development is moving from the world of an Industrial age to an information age. Innovation and advances in technological world have contributed to the shaping of the world but there is a rapid need of advance technique and right type of strategy for further development. It’s also important that young generation should understand their roles and responsibilities. Today burning ATM Issues has raised question on IT and security system of India.
Conference was divided into two parts, Technical Session 1 & 2. Mr. M. Tripathi form Delhi Technical University and Prof. Suman Sarkar (Consultant CII, Delhi) chaired the first session. Prof P. Banerjee (Amity University, Manesar, spoke on the theme in second session. After panel discussion the crux of the event was sent to Ministry of Finance. The event was very fruitful as the experience of all the dignitaries gave immense knowledge to students. Conference ended up with the thanks note by Dr Savita Mohan.
