Globe Express Services organizes interactive workshops and recognition ceremony for employees

Globe Express Services (GES), one of the world’s top 100 global logistics providers, held yesterday (Saturday, April 26, 2014), some interactive workshops on topics such as ‘Improving Customer Service to Enhance Efficiency’ and ‘Going Green,’ followed by an awarding ceremony for its employees at the Al Badia Golf Club by InterContinental, Dubai Festival City. The event was organized with an aim to strengthen the Employee/Management Relationship, making them more focused productive and efficient.

The first session of the morning was an in-house training program organized to deepen the understanding and requirements of clients to enhance company’s customer service. The second workshop was conducted by V4 Advisors, an environmental advisory services company, to inform about the findings of their

Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Audit. GES has appointed V4 Advisors, as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility, to carry out GHG Audit using their Corporate Greenhouse Gas Calculator to understand, quantify and manage its greenhouse gas emissions. The session ended with discussion on implementing more efficient measures to reduce GHG emissions.

The highly successful workshops enabled our staff members to upgrade their skills as per market requirements as well as gain insight about the best practices to reduce GHG emissions to reduce our carbon footprints.
