Luxoft will serve as a Gold level sponsor for the RUSSOFT Forum 2007, a two-day conference being held in
St. Petersburg, Russia June 20-22, 2007 at the Hotel Park Inn Pribaltiyskaya. Previously known as ROSS, the RUSSOFT Forum is in its sixth year, and is the premier venue for bringing together leading global executives and Russian IT outsourcing vendors to discuss the growing prominence and unique value add that Russia brings to the global outsourcing market.
As the Chairman of RUSSOFT (The Russian Software Developers Association), which organizes and hosts the event, Dmitry Loschinin, President and CEO of Luxoft, will kickoff the opening keynotes which will feature speakers from the IAOP (International Association of Outsourcing Professionals), eWeek and McKinsey.
Loschinin will also moderate a best practices discussion for vertical industry outsourcing featuring Luxoft client UBS and industry analyst NeoIT, and serve as one the CEO panelists on a leadership roundtable discussing trends, opportunities, challenges and solutions for the Eastern European IT export market.
Additionally, Luxoft VP Sergey Karas will be a featured speaker for a roundtable discussion on industry consolidation trends and Luxoft CTO Michael Bykov will participate in the "Product Engineering from Russia" panel, where he will share Luxoft's success in this growing development area.
Meanwhile in the US, Luxoft is sponsoring the Better Software Conference being held in Las Vegas June 18-21, 2007 at The Venetian.
Michael Vax, the head of Luxoft's Vancouver office, opened earlier this year, will also speak on best practices for implementing Agile in distributed development environments.
