Psychic URI GELLER was so concerned about former friend MICHAEL JACKSON's drug use, he slept by the King Of Pop's bed to ensure he didn't die in his sleep.
The Thriller singer passed away last month (Jun09) after suffering a cardiac

arrest, sparking rumours he was dabbling with dangerous medications and was hooked on a number of substances prior to his death.
Police searching his home following the tragedy confiscated several bags of drugs, including the powerful narcotic Demerol.
Spoon-bending performer Geller - who was pals with Jackson throughout the 1990s - reveals he was so worried about the star during their friendship he would sleep by his side to make sure Jackson woke up in the morning.
Geller tells British morning show GMTV, "I have never seen Michael take drugs but I have seen the aftermath.
"It came to the situation where we (Geller and Jackson's former head of security Matt Fiddes) were so concerned he's not going to wake up in the morning that I slept next to his bed just to make sure no one entered his room. This goes back many years now." Geller also tried to help Jackson overcome his addiction - but admits his hard-talking landed on deaf ears, because the singer refused to listen to his advice.
He adds, "Absolutely I raised my voice. I shouted at Michael, so did Matt Fiddes. 'Michael you are going to die.' These were my words. 'You are killing yourself. The world needs you, nobody wants to lose you.' But he said, 'Don't interfere in my private life'. We said it many, many times.
"I think I was the only person that raised his voice to Michael Jackson, nobody else did - maybe his dad many decades ago." But Geller is determined the truth about Jackson's death will be outed: "This is the question that has to be asked. Who did this? Why did it happen? Why wasn't there someone to say no, to stop this?"
