GEICO Teams with Sam’s Auto Body to Present Car To New York Asian Women’s Center Nov. 23

The New York Asian Women’s Center (NYAWC), a non-profit social service and advocacy organization serving women and their children, will have a special reason to be thankful this Thanksgiving when they receive a free recycled Dodge Caravan from GEICO : and Sam’s Auto Body as a part of the National Auto Body Council’s Recycled Rides :

The vehicle will be presented to the NYAWC at 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 23, at Sam’s Auto Body : , an approved GEICO Auto Repair Xpress : shop located at 50 Old Fulton Street, Brooklyn, N.Y.

NYAWC will use the vehicle to bring up to 65 women and children survivors of domestic violence to its emergency shelters each year as well as to transport supplies and groceries to feed the families.

Seth Ingall, regional vice president of GEICO’s New York operations, said, “We’re proud of the combined effort everyone has put forth for a well-deserving organization such as NYAWC. We donated the vehicle and Sam’s Auto Body worked on repairs to ensure its safety.
