www.ge.com - GE today announces the appointment of two new company officers. GE currently has 195 GE officers globally. GE officers lead large revenue generating businesses or are in critical functional roles, helping to drive growth.

Below is the list of GE's two new officers:

Gregory Cameron, 39, is vice president and chief financial officer at GE Capital

Solutions. He has deep experience across the Company's financial services businesses. Prior to his current role, Cameron was Chief Financial Officer at GE Corporate Financial Services and before that held the same role at GE Healthcare Financial Services. He joined GE through the Financial Services Training Program in 1990 and held roles of increasing responsibility in finance and on Corporate Audit Staff. Cameron holds a Bachelors degree in economics from St. Lawrence University.

Jean M. Lydon-Rodgers, 45, is vice president of the F136 engine project at GE Aviation. Lydon-Rodgers also serves as president of the GE Rolls-Royce Fighter Engine Team, which is developing the F136 engine for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter aircraft. After 23 years with GE, Lydon-Rodgers has held several leadership roles including Technology Upgrades Manager and Manager of Overhaul/Platform Strategy Marketing both at GE Aviation. She graduated from Penn State University in 1985 with a Bachelors degree in electrical engineering and from Xavier University in 1992 with a Masters degree in business administration.

GE also announced the promotion of three leaders to senior vice president. These include:

Steve Bolze, 45, is senior vice president of Power Generation at GE Energy. Bolze has run Power Generation since 2005 and was previously president and CEO of GE Healthcare International based in Paris, France. In 2003, Bolze was appointed a company officer and became vice president, Amersham Integration based in London. Bolze holds a Bachelors degree in electrical engineering from Duke University and an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan.

Daniel C. Heintzelman, 51, is senior vice president of Energy Services, at GE Energy. Heintzelman has led Energy's Services business since 2005. In 2000, Heintzelman was named a GE company officer and vice president and general manager of Aircraft Engine Services - Operations. He also served as vice president and general manager of Engine Services' Material Services operation and, in 2002, was named vice president and general manager of the Aircraft Engines' Services business. Heintzelman earned a Bachelors degree in industrial distribution from Clarkson University.

David Joyce, 51, is senior vice president of GE and president and CEO of GE Aviation. Joyce has been CEO of the Aviation business since July 2008. In 2002, he was appointed a company officer and became vice president of Commercial Engines for Aviation, responsible for all commercial jet engine products and global support. Prior to this role, he served as the general manager of the Small Commercial Engine Operation and led GE's successful bid to power China's ARJ21 regional jet. Joyce earned a Bachelors degree and Masters degree in mechanical engineering from Michigan State University, and a Masters degree in business finance from Xavier University.
