LAS VEGAS – Gaudin Ford is giving Nevada residents an opportunity to win the record-setting $500 million Powerball jackpot. All day Nov. 28 until that evening’s drawing, the 86-year-old Ford dealership plans to give away 500 Powerball tickets, which are not available in Nevada for purchase, to anyone that visits Gaudin Ford.

“This Powerball jackpot has brought much excitement throughout the country, even places where it’s not available,” said Wesley Gregg, general manager at Gaudin Ford. “We wanted to bring that excitement to Las Vegas and give people a rare opportunity to have a chance to get a Powerball ticket without having to leave the state.”

Nevada is one of only seven states in the country that does not have a

state-run lottery, so Gaudin Ford’s giveaway is unique. In order to get in on the Powerball action, Nevada residents would have to travel to bordering participating states Oregon, Arizona or Idaho.

The current jackpot of $500 million is a record for Powerball and the second-highest jackpot in world lottery history. The lucky Powerball winner or winners will be announced on Nov. 28.
