2013-01-15 20:25:43 - Celebrity stylists Anwar Jammal and Simon Bate return to their rural ‘roots’ and help salon owner put The Snug on the map
Hair and beauty entrepreneur Hazel Marsh is thrilled to announce the new appointments of top stylists Anwar Jammal and Simon Bate at the Snug in Stanford Bridge, her rural business venture which she started in the early part of 2011.
Worcestershire- born stylists Anwar and Simon have an impressive pedigree having worked for an array of celebrity clients in some of the most prestigious salons and locations around the world including London, Paris, New York and Miami. Between them they have styled and shaped the glossy tresses of the rich and famous such as actress Joanna Lumley, super model Helena Christensen and Hollywood icon Sharon Stone.
Hazel has much to celebrate as she delights in welcoming the ‘high profile’ pair to the
Snug to join her team of stylists Leslie Garbett and Valerie Butcher. Their appointments have helped her to galvanise her expansion plans as she prepares to open her new extensive facilities in 2013. The additional space will allow her to increase the range of treatments that she already has on offer.
The Snug’s rural location offers a welcome retreat for those wishing to escape the hustle and bustle of the City and experience its intimate and cosy atmosphere as well as providing a more convenient facility for local people. She believes that her ‘celebrity’ stylists will be a great attraction for those who wrongly perceive that access to innovative and beautiful hair styling is the preserve of the rich and famous.
Stylist Simon Bate who trained with styling legend Umberto Giannini said: ”I have had some wonderful experiences travelling all over the world and working with some amazingly talented people but it’s a pleasure to come home and work in such a lovely little gem of a salon. I love my craft as helping people to achieve self-esteem and confidence by giving them a stunning hairstyle is fantastically rewarding.”
Although having a similar celebrity focused career provenance Anwar trained in the Shires and later spent time working in two prestigious Knightsbridge salons. He has worked on the popular TV programme "What Not To Wear" helping style gurus Trinny and Susanna achieve life changing makeovers for people.
With a portfolio of achievements documented in a range of fashion and glamour titles including The Tattler he said:”It’s true that I have worked for a number of prestige catwalk shows such as the National Wedding Show in Earl’s Court for example. I have a string of celebrity clientele under my belt, The President of Greece's First Lady, Mica Paris, Tamzin Outhwaite and the cast of Footballers’ Wives to name but a few but when Simon and I first visited the Snug we both felt it was a gem.
“We intend to polish it and add a bit of extra sparkle so it shines and dazzles and gains a reputation for hairstyling excellence.”
