Freddie Mac Prices New $5.5 Billion Five-Year Reference Notes(R) Security

MCLEAN, VA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/16/13 -- Freddie Mac (OTCBB: FMCC) announced today that it priced its new 0.875% 5-year USD Reference Notes® security due on March 7, 2018. The issue, CUSIP number 3137EADP1, was priced at 99.780 to yield 0.919%, or 18.5 basis points more than five-year U.S. Treasury Notes. The issue will settle on Thursday, January 17, 2013.



The new five-year Reference Notes security was offered via a syndicate of dealers headed by Barclays Capital, Citigroup Global Markets, and J.P. Morgan Chase. An application was made to list the issue on the Euro MTF market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.
