Force Protection Appoints Director of Training

Force Protection, Inc. (NASDAQ: FRPT) today announced that it has named David Ray Hudson as Director of Training at its Training and Capabilities Center located in Roxboro, North Carolina. Prior to joining Force Protection, Mr. Hudson served as the Senior Enlisted Leader for the National Guard Bureau as Command Sergeant Major.

As Senior Enlisted Leader, Mr. Hudson was responsible for advising

the Chief, National Guard Bureau on enlisted affairs of the 457,000 Soldiers and Airmen of the Army and Air National Guard. CSM Hudson began his military career by enlisting in the United States Air Force in 1973, was honorably discharged from the Air Force in 1978 and enlisted in the Air Force Reserve. In 1984, Mr. Hudson transferred from the Air Force Reserve to the Alaska Army National Guard. Over the last 25 years, Mr.

Hudson has held all leadership positions in the Noncommissioned Officer Corps through the rank of Command Sergeant Major. Mr. Hudson retired from the Alaska State Troopers in October 2006 where he held the rank of Captain.

Mr. Hudson holds a Master of Science degree in Organizational Management from the University of LaVerne and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern Mississippi.
