For Local San Clemente Dentists, Holiday Season Means Giving Thanks and Giving Back

Print article Print article
2013-01-04 07:29:23 - Drs Eric Johnson and Thomas Risbrudt are commited to giving back to the community through multiple efforts. They are always looking for ways to give back to local communities as well as communities abroad. Their latest charity they gave to was the Race For The Cure for breast cancer awareness month.

San Clemente, CA. – Orange County, CA family dentists Drs. Eric Johnson and Thomas Risbrudt are dental professionals with several decades of combined experience in the field. Their office employs all the latest proven techniques, and they always try to do right by their patients.

Like most other professionals, Drs. Johnson and Risbudt focus on gift giving during the holiday season. But more important than giving gifts to each other is giving thanks for their blessings and giving back to the community.

“We truly are blessed beyond anything that’s humanly comprehensible” Dr. Johnson says. “Just living in a country with so much freedom and abundance makes us better off than 99% of all people throughout human history. Beyond that, Dr.

Risbrudt and I have been blessed to work in a profession we love, that we’re passionate about. And this is a great time of the year to say ‘thanks’ to our patients, our staff, our families, our Creator, and everyone else who has helped make this wonderful life possible.”

Gratitude is an emotion that carries with it several benefits. Studies indicate that aside from being just the right thing to do, thankfulness can also be good for a person’s general health.

“We believe in living each day in an attitude of gratitude,” Dr. Johnson continues. “Not just because we have so much to be thankful for and we are far better off than we deserve, but because gratitude has been shown to have a positive effect on people’s health. Think about it – if your mindset is thankfulness, then you will do a lot less complaining, and have a lot less stress in your life.”

Drs. Johnson and Risbrudt are particularly thankful for their patients whom keep them in business. In their December Newsletter, they thanked their patients for giving them:

Time
Money
Trust

“At the end of the day, it is our patients whom are the lifeblood of our office. Without them, none of us would be here. This month, we are saying a special ‘thank you’ to our patients who put their trust in us. We know you have a choice of several dental professionals in the area, and we are very grateful that you chose us.”
In addition to giving thanks to their patients, Drs. Johnson and Risbrudt have always had a heart to give back to those less fortunate in the Orange County community in which they serve. For example, this Fall, the entire office participated in the Susan G. Korman Run For The Cure to fight breast cancer. This is one of a number of charities and community projects Drs. Johnson and Risburdt are involved in not just around holiday time, but throughout the year.
