February 2014: The Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Media City announces the appointment of Mr. Loic Foucault as the new Director of Food & Drinks.
Foucault, a French national brings more than 15 years of experience to the team.
He spent three years learning his craft in Laval Catering School where he graduated in General Culinary, Bakery, Pastry and chocolate disciplines.
His international career started off as a Sous Chef at the Intercontinental Vendome Beirut. After which he rose through the ranks with several high profile properties. He reached the Executive Chef’s position with Sheraton in Beirut and further transferred to open Sheraton Oran, Algeria and finally to Amman, Jordan.
Foucault’s career took a big turn, after mastering in Hospitality Management from Cornell University
New York in 2012.
He became Director of Operations for the S.H. Al Mana Group, one of the Middle East most prominent luxury brand retailers, leading 200 associates in Doha, Qatar.
An entrepreneur at heart and absolutely passionate about food, Loic pursued the challenge of developing a chain of wine bars and restaurants with 4 outlets in Shanghai and Beijing.
