Fog City Pictures & WonderPhil Productions present the award winning independent feature film “Moonlight Sonata” at this year’s American Film Market (AFM).

“Moonlight Sonata,” a psychological thriller, is the third feature film for Fog City Pictures and has gone to 11 film festivals in the USA and in Europe since being finished in Spring of 2009. The movie, written and directed

by Celik Kayalar, centers around an affluent San Francisco family that attempts to deal with their past secrets in their own private way. As each person tries to move forward in life, they unknowingly race towards chaos and destruction.

After premiering at the California Independent Film Festival in March of 2009, "Moonlight Sonata" went on to be shown at 10 more festivals, most recently at the 46th Antalya Film Festival in Turkey. It also won two awards, the “Golden Kahuna” Award at the 2009 Honolulu Film Festival and the “Platinum Reel” Award at the 2009 Nevada Film Festival.

“We are excited to partner with Phil Gorn and his team to market the movie to a worldwide audience,” explains Celik Kayalar. “We already secured theatrical release for “Moonlight Sonata” in Turkey for early 2010.”

Writer/Director Celik Kayalar and lead cast-members from Los Angeles, Irena Hoffman, MJ Karmi and Sita Young will be in attendance at the screening and will be happy to meet and talk with interested buyers.
