The ULE Alliance, a non-profit organization based in Switzerland, is pleased to announce its attendance at the European Utility Week (EUW) in Amsterdam (October 15-17). The Alliance will be present at booth 5.D41b in the exhibition area.
At the show the ULE Alliance will be represented by Dialog Semiconductor, DSP Group, Lantiq and Vtech, demonstrating the first ULE based interoperating products, which are based on different chipsets and manufactured by different device manufacturers.
The ULE Alliance sets its mission to assist OEMs to develop Smart Home solutions that are easy to install and use. The Alliance follows the tradition of a high degree of interoperability, inherited from the reliable and worldwide-adopted DECT technology.
In a short period since its foundation in the beginning
of 2013, the ULE Alliance achieved a significant progress in all areas of activity.
- The ULE Transport Layer Protocol definition was released as an ETSI standard
- The ULE Application Layer Protocol (HAN FUN – Home Area Network FUNctional protocol) definition has been completed
- The ULE Certification Program has been kicked off
Many new members have joined the ULE Alliance. The number of members has nearly tripled since April 2013 to reach 35 members. This number is growing steadily. The members are coming from diversified market segments: Operators and services, Home gateways, Security systems, and more.
