HARRY POTTER star TOM FELTON is a target for obsessed fans of the wizard franchise - he once met an American who wanted to adopt him.
The actor plays Draco Malfoy in the hit films, and admits the success o f

the movies has bred a group of hardcore followers, especially in the U.
S. and Japan.
Most are happy to simply bombard the star actors with gifts - but Felto n became spooked when one fan revealed a detailed scheme to adopt him.
The man had changed his name to Lucius Malfoy - the father of Felton's character in the films - and wanted to set up home with Felton in a prope rty based on the movie family's mansion.
Felton tells Attitude magazine, "I've had requests for adoption. In Ame rica, a man changed his name legally to Lucius Malfoy, showed me the docu mentation and then sent me documents to disown my parents and move to be with him in the States in his house, which he had named Malfoy Manor. I k indly rejected that. That was quite scary."
