Farstad Shipping ASA - Sale of vessel

Farstad Shipping ASA has, through its wholly owned subsidiary Farstad Shipping
Pte. Ltd. in Singapore, sold AHTS Lady Cynthia (1987, Hart Fenton, 9.500 BHP).


Delivery of the vessel to the new owner has taken place today, Wednesday 2(nd)
January 2013. It is expected the vessel will be deployed in the Indian domestic
market.

Sale of the vessel will give a booked profit of approx. NOK 3 mill. in the
1(st) quarter 2013.

After the sale of Lady Cynthia Farstad Shipping's fleet consists of 55 vessels
(28 AHTS, 24 PSV and 3 SUBSEA) and 5 PSV and 4 AHTS under construction. The

Singapore, Macaé and Rio de Janeiro with
