Petty joins female executives from VMware and EMC to discuss the evolving responsibilities and opportunities for women in the VMware community.
Petty is a 20-year veteran of the software and networking industry and a true channel champion. She is recognized frequently for her leadership within the channel community, having received many accolades such as being named one of the Top 100 Women in the Channel, inclusion in the Channel Chiefs list, and recognition as
one of the Power 50 Women in the Channel by Everything Channel’s CRN Magazine.
The “Women of Purpose” panel will discuss peer-based mentoring opportunities, continuing education and communications, as well as the growing role of women in the channel. The panel will take place today, February 8, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. PST. VMware Partner Exchange is an annual partner conference dedicated to educating and enabling partners for success with VMware. Attendees are given partner-only access to VMware’s roadmap and industry vision, early previews of next-generation products and programs, as well as in-depth technical training.
