2013-03-19 12:43:53 - A variety of innovative performances by Extentians on stage mark anniversary

Pune, India, March 13, 2013: Extentia celebrated its 14th anniversary on March 8, with an annual party that again featured professional grade performances on stage. All of these were in-house productions – the result of weeks of practice and excellent execution – making the event at the Poona Club a grand success.

Proceedings began with a round of awards for Extentians and support staff in appreciation of the quality of their work over the past year. Other awards were given later in the evening, to recognize outstanding newcomers to the company, significant contributors to the business, and Extentia veterans.

Performances included several dances, skits and spoofs based on classical, Bollywood and Extentia related themes. All of these held the complete attention of

the 400 plus audience, and received enthusiastic applause. Each performance was presented by one of Extentia’s six houses, and there was a combined house act at the end.
Guests included Extentia’s partners, clients, friends of the company, and the families of Extentians.

As always, the party included a raffle for Sakaar, Extentia’s social outreach program. This time the beneficiary was FEED, a program that distributes food to the homeless in Pune. Extentians and their guests contributed generously, as always.

At the end, the Extentia Premier League (XPL) awards were presented to winning house teams. These were for several inter-house competitions over the past year that included sports, art, quizzing, singing, and on-stage acts at the annual party.
