Exclusive New Details From Khloe and Lamar's Wedding
Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom's wedding was the hottest ticket in town this weekend.
Only 250 guests were invited to the last minute bash Sunday afternoon, but Hollyscoop has details from the private yet "grand and beautiful" ceremony.
Security was on high alert at the private residence. "Once you made it past the valet, your name had to be checked off a guest list. Guest were asked to sign waivers for the show and after you signed the waiver you got to go inside the estate," a wedding guest tells Hollyscoop exclusively.
Huge trees were placed near the entrance to make it difficult for paparazzi's to snap photos, but that didn't stop helicopters full of them from hovering over the ceremony.
"The ceremony and
cocktail reception was outside, while dinner was served in a make shift tent," adds our source. There were gorgeous chandeliers inside the tent, where the main theme was silver and white.
Khloe looked absolutely stunning in a Vera Wang strapless gown, while her maids of honor, Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian wore form fitted silk lavender gowns.
"Kourtney's dress was extra tight and showed up her growing belly, it was really beautiful on her," adds our source. Both Kim and Kourtney, along with the best man gave heartwarming speeches during the reception.
DJ Kid Capri spun beats all night but before he got busy on the turntables, Grammy award winning artist Babyface sang "You Are So Beautiful" to the newlyweds. "It was a surprise performance," says our Hollyscoop.com source, adding, "Kris [Jenner] introduced him, it was really touching!"
Ryan Seacrest was the last one to show up and first one to leave. Hey he wakes up at the crack of dawn for his radio show, we can't blame him!
Other guests included Chelsea Handler, Odom's teammate Kobe Bryant with his wife Vanessa, Lara Spencer, Brittny Gastineau and Lala Vazquez.
A lot of Lamar and Khloe's family members were also at the reception, and "most of them had just met each other," says our Hollyscoop source.
Overall, it was a "really fun wedding. Everyone was dancing and having a great time," says our source.
Cameras and BlackBerrys were banned from the ceremony, but E! camera's here there to document the ceremony for Keeping Up With the Kardashians and OK! magazine reportedly had the exclusive rights to the first photos of the wedding.
Guess we'll just have to wait until the new issue of OK! and the new episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians to see more! Congrats to the happy couple.
