The 'Moulin Rouge' star locks lips with fellow actor Douglas Hodge in new British drama 'Scenes Of A Sexual Nature'.
The 35-year-old actor - who plays Hodge's gay lover in the film - says he had no trouble getting into the character.
He was quoted in Britain's Daily Express newspaper as saying: "I've never been a soldier but I've played a soldier. My character Billy is a human being - if he is gay or straight, it doesn't make any difference." The 'Star Wars' actor also revealed the pair got a chance to rehearse their smooch, when they starred in musical 'Guys and Dolls' together.
He joked: "We would run it a few times between shows." This is not the first time McGregor has kissed a man in a movie.
In another British film, 'Velvet Goldmine', he shared a smooch with actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers, who later complained McGregor had given him "a terrible stubble rash."
