The 'Desperate Housewives' actress - who has been dating 24-year-old basketball star Tony Parker for a year - says she wants to start a family as soon as she has finished filming the hit US TV show.
She told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "The most important thing for me is to have a family. I want to get married. I want to raise kids. I'd much rather have a family than win an Oscar.
"When the show finishes I want to go home to Texas and be a mother." Before meeting Parker, the 31-year-old actress vowed not to marry for at least another ten years.
Eva - who married actor Tyler Christopher when she was 26 - said she was not willing to repeat the experience for a long time.
She said at the time: "I don't think I'll be ready to get married again until I am in my forties.
"Nothing has put me off marriage - other than being married already. I'm very excited about my thirties. I think it's going to be a great time in my life."
