He has served on the Tipp City City Council, Tipp City Chamber of Commerce, and the Tipp-Monroe Community Services. In addition, Mr. Lovett served as Mayor of Tipp City from 2006 to 2007. Among his numerous activities done for the community, he has been a member of the Policy Planning Council of the American Public Power Association and the Ohio Municipal Electric Association Board of Directors.
