2009-06-05 21:17:25 - Organizers at the Albanian festival are thrilled to have Erion entertaining the youth and teens that will be at the festival. The festival runs today though Sunday at St. Mary's Albanian Orthodox Church in Worcester, MA. Erion is slated to perform at 10 pm on Saturday evening.

For Immediate Release – June 3, 2009 – New York, NY. – The Albanian Festival is this weekend in Worchester, Massachusetts and pop sensation Erion is headlining this Saturday’s events to celebrate his heritage. Go Large Records announed today.

Hailing from Albania (Europe), Erion Kacani has an extensive and impressive resume of accomplishments, including most recently writing songs for Donnie

Clang of "Making the Band" fame (Bad Boy Records) and has also worked with Eren Cannata (Brown Dog Records).



Unlike many USA pop stars, Erion had a tough childhood and watched his Mother Country (Albania) get torn to shreds through war and poverty. Living without basic necessities like electricity and water, Erion turned to writing and music to escape the turmoil. At age 11, his mother moved him to Greece to start life anew. It was there that Erion experienced racism and the fear of speaking his own language and that set him deeper into his writing and music. Eventually he migrated to the USA and found a home in New York City.

“While we always live through rough times, now and then we should always make the best of it,” Erion says. “Life is not a perfect smile but we should try through music and poetry to make the best of what we are dealt.”

Erion has urban pop dance tunes and ballads that will cause tears to fall and hips to shake. He is well diverse in his music, liked by all ages, and versatile. He throws a stellar performance and gains quick crowd recognition with his looks.

Erion has gotten airplay at 805 Hip Hop in Los Angeles, Moto Hip Hop in Orlando, 98.7 the Wild in Tampa, and Pazzo Radio.

Erion performs all over NYC and Albania and is currently working his way to Miami where he was invited to perform at the Latin Street Grammy Parties. If you miss him there, check him out in Orlando next month when he films a dance video.
