www.cartatts.com - For CarTatts Jeff Lewis, 201-227-0747 x204 jeff.lewis@groupm.org It takes a green character to know what's best for the environment. As such, Lil' Grusome and the Nutshell Gang, hybrid creations of a not-so-nice professor and stars of a cartoon TV special airing this August on NYC TV public television (New York City, northern NJ

and southern Connecticut), have teamed up with CarTatts to promote environmental awareness.

CarTatts has licensed the Nutshell Gang characters from Nightstand Creations and made several Tatts available promoting the benefits of hybrid cars. The Tatts can be found exclusively at www.CarTatts.com.

Hybrid owners tend to be a very proud bunch, part of an exclusive club. By putting "Lil' Grusome" Tatts on their cars, hybrid drivers can show everyone around them they are hybrid supporters and encourage others to do their part for the Earth.

There are several Lil' Grusome Tatts available. Some include the characters touting such phrases as "Hybrid Power," "Never Underestimate the Power of a Hybrid" and "I love Hybrids."

Lil' Grusome and his Nutshell Gang are not your everyday cartoon characters. Professor Fizzle, a fan of rude and distasteful behavior, created the Nutshell Gang thinking they would help spread his desire to make everyone behave "not-so-good." Lil' Grusome, half human boy and half frog, turned out to be sweet and lovable instead of being rude and nasty.

Lil' Grusome and his hybrid friends are available as CarTatts, auto graphics that adhere to the body of any car or truck, to help hybrid drivers spread the word about the importance of new higher-mileage automobiles.

"Lil' Grusome and the Nutshell Gang are proud to be hybrids. They are proud to be green and good to others," said Randy Rossilli, Jr., founder of Nightstand Creations, Inc. "We are excited about working with CarTatts to promote the characters and hybrid technology as a morally sound alternative to the not-so-nice gas guzzlers that have been popular in recent years. People need to learn that it is better to be nice to the Earth - and each other - than it is to be not-so-nice."
