A panel discussion will be held to explore some of the key issues/challenges & successes followed by the announcement of the winners of the three award categories. An event NOT to be missed!

With Western Australia’s rapid economic growth and now stabilisation, entrepreneurs and innovators are more important to Western Australia’s economic climate than ever.

Business people that bring fresh, new ideas to either new or existing corporations are essential for ensuring Western Australia’s economy doesn’t take a dip following such rapid growth.

In 2012/2013 Networking WA will introduce the ‘WAtoday.com.au Entrepreneurs & Innovators Awards’, an awards program and event series to acknowledge and encourage both established and emerging entrepreneurs and innovators within Western Australia.

The main event, held to announce the winners of the award categories, will be held on the 3rd of April 2013, and will feature a panel of experts including Michael Malone (iiNet), Dale Alcock (ABN Group), Patria Jafferies (Founder, Dome) and

Rick Hart (Kitchen HQ).

The concept plans to encourage new and existing business growth through the annual awards, separated into three main categories:

1. Curtin Growth Entrepreneur Award
2. iiNet Innovator Award
3. Entrepreneurs representing Young (under the age of 35 as of April 3rd, 2013), Female or Indigenous populations

The processes of nomination, judging and free workshop events are to take place between October 2012- April 2013.
