BRITNEY SPEARS is cleaning up her raunchy Circus tour as it heads to Australia - the pop superstar is demanding regular drug and alcohol tests for her employees.
The Toxic hitmaker is heading Down Under in November (09) to play her first ever shows in the country for fans in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.
And in a bid to ensure she maintains her shared custody of her two sons with ex Kevin Federline while she’s on the road, Spears has vowed to stay away from any temptations - and insists her staff do the same.
A source tells Aussie newspaper the Herald Sun, "Britney’s rule is clear - zero tolerance. No drink. No drugs. If you do not comply, you do not tour with Britney." According to the publication, all 150 members of Spears’ tour entourage have signed contracts which state they must undergo urine tests.

MADONNA and LADY GAGA stunned America on Saturday night (03Oct09) by staging a catfight on live TV.
The two pop divas performed a synchronised dance-off, dressed in matching black lingerie and knee-high boots, as part of a comedy skit on Saturday Night Live, which was called to a halt when Madonna started pulling Gaga’s wig and throttling her, yelling, "What the hell is a disco stick?" - referring to the younger star’s hit.
The feuding pair was separated by the host of fictitious MTV show Deep House Dish, but a comedy war of words ensued as Gaga, the show’s musical guest, cooed, "Guess what Madonna, I’m totally hotter than you," to which the Material Girl replied, "Hey guess what, I’m taller than you. What sort of a name is Lady Gaga; it sounds like baby food!" The pop pair ended the skit by moving in to kiss each other and then attacking SNL regular Kenan Thompson instead.
It was a star-studded Saturday Night Live with Ryan Reynolds guest hosting and his wife Scarlett Johansson playing his comedy spouse in a skit about a family porcelain fountain firm. Reynolds also raised laughs as a prison dance instructor in fictitious show So You Committed A Crime & You Think You Can Dance, a segment hosted by comedian Andy Samberg as Britney Spears’ overweight ex Kevin Federline.

BRITNEY SPEARS has a regal way of keeping her whereabouts a secret when she’s travelling - she checks into hotels using the names of royalty.
Author Steve Dennis reveals in his new biography, Britney: Inside the Dream, that the Toxic hitmaker has a string of fake names to keep paparazzi and crazed fans at bay.
According to Dennis, the singer goes by the moniker "Mrs. Diana Prince" in honour of the late Diana, Princess of Wales - who was killed in a Paris, France car crash while being chased by photographers.
But it’s not only royal names Spears adopts - she also calls herself "Queen of the Fairy Dance", "Ms. Alotta Warmheart", and "Mrs. Abra Cadabra", reports the New York Post.

BRITNEY SPEARS savoured the sweet taste of success as she closed the U.S. leg of her Circus tour - by splashing out more than $3,000 (£2,000) on candy.
The superstar wrapped the North American dates of her latest global trek with two extra raunchy shows in Las Vegas on Sunday (27Sep09).
But things turned from saucy to tasty as she was preparing to leave Sin City - Spears raided a candy store and bought bundles of luxury tasty treats.
The Toxic singer picked out Halloween treacle and chocolate, as well as several of her own merchandised lollipops at Las Vegas’ Sugar Factory store, according to Britain’s The Sun newspaper.
A source tells the publication, "Britney has put her worst vices behind her but clearly still has a sweet tooth.
"It’s better she’s spending all this cash on sweets than something more sinister."

BRITNEY SPEARS concluded the North American leg of her CIRCUS tour with two raunchy shows in Las Vegas - where she performed a lap dance for singer LANCE BASS.
The pop star wrapped up her seven-month tour in Sin City on Sunday (27Sep09) and gave fans a thrill by inviting the ‘N Sync star - her friend and former tourmate - to join her onstage at the Mandalay Bay venue.
Spears proceeded to serenade him while writhing seductively to her track Breathe On Me, while Bass could be seen singing along.
Barry Manilow was also in the audience, while former Spice Girl Melanie Brown and teen sensation Miley Cyrus were in town to catch Spears’ concert on Saturday (26Sep09).
And Spears was clearly delighted with the star-studded turnout - she later contacted Cyrus on Twitter.com to tell her: "Thanks for coming to my show last night! Hope you had fun! - Britney." Excited Cyrus responded, "You are very welcome. I love you so much!" The Toxic hitmaker will relax throughout the month of October (09) before flying to Australia to play a string of dates Down Under in November (09).

BRITNEY SPEARS will share equal custody of her sons with KEVIN FEDERLINE until 2010, after a judge extended an agreement allowing her to see the kids during her Circus world tour.
The superstar singer negotiated a deal with ex-husband Federline earlier this year (09), which allowed her to take her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, around the world while she undertakes her latest global trek.
Federline - who has primary custody of the children - travelled with Spears’ entourage, and the deal worked out so well for all parties that Spears was granted extra time with her kids, splitting custody equally with her ex.
The deal was initially agreed until the end of August (09), but lawyers for both parents have agreed to extend the order until the end of 2009.
The Toxic hitmaker will still be allowed 50/50 custody, and even more at certain times, according to TMZ.com.

The paparazzo who was injured when BRITNEY SPEARS ran over his foot is asking the pop star to hand over more than $220,000 (£146,700).
Photographer Ricardo Mendoza claims his foot has been damaged for life, and has cost him $195,000 (£130,000) in general damages.
Ironically, the incident happened as Spears was leaving a Los Angeles medical centre in 2007.
The former TMZ.com photographer initially laughed the foot injury off, auctioning off his sock for charity.

BRITNEY SPEARS is following in the footsteps of her idol MADONNA - she is bringing out another greatest hits collection.
To celebrate 10 years in the music industry, Spears is releasing The Singles Collection, five years after her first ‘best of’ package, My Prerogative, back in 2004.
The ultimate fan box set will go on sale at the end of November (09) and will include all 29 of Spears’ singles and a DVD with all of her videos, as well as a photo booklet chronicling her career to date.
The release will come just two months after Madonna’s third greatest hits release, Celebration, which hit stores earlier this month (Sep09).

KATE BOSWORTH has laughed off reports she is cosying up to TRUE BLOOD star ALEXANDER SKARSGARD, insisting she is "just good friends" with the TV hunk.

BRITNEY SPEARS’ ex-boyfriend has had his divorce finalised.
Adnan Ghalib’s wife Azylynn Berry filed for separation in January 2008, citing irreconcilable differences for the split.
At the time Spears was going through her much publicised meltdown and dating former paparazzo Ghalib, much to Berry’s fury.
After their relationship ended, the singer�s father Jamie filed for a restraining order against the snapper, which was granted for a three year period.
Now Ghalib’s marriage is over too - a judge at Los Angeles’ Superior Court granted Berry’s request for a divorce last Friday (18Sep09).

BRITNEY SPEARS’ ex-husband KEVIN FEDERLINE has brushed off rumours his upcoming TV weightloss challenge is a direct result of doctors telling him to drop the pounds or face serious heart problems.
The 31 year old, who was once an athletic back-up dancer for Spears, has become tabloid fodder in recent months for packing on the pounds, and now he has signed on to lose weight on the new season of U.S. reality show Celebrity Fit Club.
But he insists the decision to join ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson on the show had nothing to do with health concerns - and reports his ballooning frame has sent his blood pressure skyrocketing are not true.
His spokesperson tells People magazine, "The rumour (of potential heart problems) is 100 per cent false. He’s focused on taking care of the kids and is (already) eating healthier and losing weight."

Anxious actress MEGAN FOX credits BRITNEY SPEARS with getting over her fear of flying - because she’s convinced she won’t die on an airplane listening to the pop star’s songs.
The Transformers beauty has been candid about her struggles with mental health problems, insisting she’s coped with anxiety since her youth.
The 23 year old developed aerophobia in more recent years - but she insists plugging in the Toxic hitmaker’s tunes during flights eases her morbid fears.
She explains, "I developed that (a fear of flying) when I turned 20. All of a sudden I got really afraid to get on airplanes. I had to come up with a way to deal with it because I didn’t want to have panic attacks every time I get on a plane. The singer’s longtime agent Jason Trawick was spotted hand in hand with a new girl outside Bally’s casino in Las Vegas earlier this month (Sep09) - and bystanders had to do a double take because she looked just like Spears.
An eyewitness tells Life & Style magazine, "They seemed to be having a great time and were relaxed around each other, holding hands as they walked down the (Las Vegas) Strip. They even kissed once or twice."

BRITNEY SPEARS has brushed off rumours she’s staging fake music video auditions to liven up her love life, following allegations she propositioned a male model during a recent casting.
The Toxic hitmaker has been on and off the dating scene since her 2007 divorce from Kevin Federline, and reports suggest her rumoured romance with her agent, Jason Trawick, has recently cooled.
According to the New York Daily News, the star set up a fake casting in Los Angeles to find a new beau - but her hand-picked suitor, 24-year-old model Bekim Trenova, turned her down.
A source says, "When he got there, there was no camera crew. There was just Britney. She was looking sexy. She made it pretty clear that she was less interested in hiring him than in dating him. Bekim found the whole scene very weird. He was polite but not interested. He made some excuse to get out of there." Trenova has declined to comment. But a spokesperson for Spears claims the story is "completely false," insisting "She (Spears) doesn’t know this guy".

Gracious BEYONCE was crowned the queen of the MTV Video Music Awards in New York on Sunday night (13Sep09) after winning the event’s Video of The Year prize and sharing it with TAYLOR SWIFT.
Earlier in the evening, Swift’s magic moment - as she claimed the Best Female Video prize - was interrupted and ruined by Kanye West, who stormed the stage to protest the honour and proclaim it belonged to Beyonce.
The shocked Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) singer simply looked on in disbelief as West embarrassed Swift.
But triple winner Beyonce made sure Swift had a moment towards the end of the show when she insisted the country star join her onstage as she accepted the night’s big award.
Beyonce said, "I remember being 17 years old, up for my first MTV award with Destiny’s Child and it was one of the most exciting moments in my life, so I’d like for Taylor to come out and have her moment." Swift strolled onstage to a standing ovation and quipped, "Maybe we could try this again," before making the acceptance speech she would have earlier - if rude West had allowed her to finish.
The edgy evening was dominated by controversy, tributes and stellar performances from Beyonce, Pink, Jay-Z, Muse, Swift and triple winners Lady Gaga and Green Day.
As well as Kanye West, show host Russell Brand and Gaga provided the controversy - comic Brand made lewd references about Katy Perry, Gaga, Beyonce and Swift, and Gaga shocked by pretending to die in a bloody mess onstage at Radio City Music Hall.
Her performance of Paparazzi, though a talking point, was not the night’s live highlight - that belonged to Beyonce, who took the stage with 30 lookalikes to sing and dance her way through megahit Single Ladies.
Meanwhile, Pink also stunned with a gymnastic, high-flying show, wearing a pink heart covering the nipple on her exposed left breast and Beyonce’s husband Jay-Z concluded the performances with an Alicia Keys collaboration on New York anthem Empire State of Mind.
Among the tributes, double prize winner Eminem dedicated his Best Hip Hop Video trophy to late pal Proof and house act Wale took a moment to remember Adam ‘DJ AM’ Goldstein, who was part of the house band last year (08).
But the VMAs opened and closed with the biggest tribute to Michael Jackson - Madonna and Janet Jackson honoured the King of Pop at the beginning of the show and the first trailer for his This Is It concert rehearsal movie closed it.

LINDSAY LOHAN always wanted to live her life in the spotlight - after envying her idol BRITNEY SPEARS’ rise to fame.
The actress first dabbled with stardom as a 12 year old, appearing in Disney movie The Parent Trap before her turn in 2004 film Mean Girls made her a media favourite.
Lohan became a regular on the party circuit in Los Angeles, but spiralled out of control just a few years later. She was arrested twice in 2007 on drink driving charges and has spent time in rehab in a bid to combat her troubles.
But the star admits she always knew the pitfalls of fame - because she watched the Toxic hitmaker’s meteoric rise as a youngster.
She tells Access Hollywood, �Everyone goes through tough times. I think I�ve always kind of aspired to be like Britney Spears in the tabloids when I was in middle school. It�s kind of something you sign up for in the beginning and if you really want it, you know that comes with it." Lohan admits the scrutiny she has faced during her decade in the limelight has had its problems - but she is determined not to give the press a chance to criticise her in the future.
She adds, �There are times when it does affect me. When I�m having a bad day or dealing with something personal that is no one else�s business they�re going to spin it anyway. If I make the wrong face and I�m having a really great day, they�re going to say something negative anyway.
"I know that Iâ��m a target and I know that Iâ��ve given people a lot of reason to kind of run with things that have been said. I no longer intend on doing that, but Iâ��m not perfect.â�� But despite her troubles, the 23 year old is adamant she wouldn’t change her past - because it has shaped the person she has become.
Lohan says, �There are things I would like to take back and I always say that, but there aren�t many things that I regret doing, because I wouldn�t have learned from them, and I wouldn�t be where I am today. I think it�s taken me a long time to learn how to love myself before I could love someone else too. Whether it be a best friend or family or someone that I�m in a relationship with.�
