PATTINSON TOOK XANAX BEFORE TWILIGHT MEETING

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:28 pm

ROBERT PATTINSON almost fell asleep when he met the producers of the TWILIGHT movies for the first time - because he’d downed anti-anxiety drug Xanax to prevent a panic attack.
The actor has confessed he tried out the calming pills after becoming "paranoid" about messing up important auditions, according to The Observer Magazine.
He admits he took the medication before meeting Twilight producers when he was being lined up for his role as Edward Cullen - but it made him so drowsy he almost passed out.
Pattinson tells the publication, "I’d never had a Xanax before. But I’d started getting so paranoid about messing up auditions all the time that I would actually mess them up. So I took like half a Xanax (before my Twilight audition). And it went really well, so when I had to go and meet the producers I thought, ‘I’m just gonna take another Xanax!’ And then I went in and almost fell asleep."

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:23 pm

ODD FUTURE rapper LEFT BRAIN is facing assault charges after allegedly striking a female photographer at a festival appearance last month (Oct11).
Amy Harris claims her camera was knocked out of her hands when she was slapped by the star, real name Vyron Turner, during the group’s performance at the Voodoo Experience in New Orleans, Louisiana on 30 October (11).
And now Harris has decided to take legal action after the hip-hop collective threatened her credibility by denying the altercation.
Releasing a statement on her official website, she writes, "After he so publicly attacked me, I truly believed that an apology would be immediately forthcoming, which is why I declined to press charges at that time.
"The unexpected turn of events, including an attack by Odd Future on my credibility and motives for discussing the incident, have caused me to re-evaluate my initial decision. I’ve contacted an attorney… and am pursuing my options.
"At a minimum, I am seeking a public apology from Vyron Turner. Ultimately, I want a resolution in which Turner is held accountable for his actions." Turner faces a misdemeanour battery charge, which carries a $1,000 (£625) fine and a maximum six-month prison sentence if convicted.

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 5:28 pm

The Office funnyman took aim at several actors when he presented the Golden Globes in January (11), including a joke that Cattrall, 55, and her co-stars had been airbrushed in the poster for the Sex and the City 2 movie.
The actress blasted Gervais following the ceremony, accusing him of "ageism" and making a "cheap" remark - but he’s adamant he was making a serious point about the way Hollywood treats actors as they get older.
He tells Britain’s Guardian Magazine, "It’s the opposite (of what Cattrall said). I don’t think you lose your sensuality at 50. But why are we pandering to Hollywood that you have to look 25? The target is the opposite of what she thought."
