FISHER PLEADS NOT GUILTY IN BATTERY CASE
NCIS star DAVID FISHER has pleaded not guilty to a charge of felony battery following an alleged altercation with his neighbour in September (11).
The British actor is accused of hitting out at another resident in his Los Angeles apartment block after they reportedly clashed over wet towels which had been hung out to dry.
Fisher was arrested after he allegedly attacked the neighbour, before the unidentified male escaped his grip and called police.
The star was placed behind bars on $50,000 (£31,250) bail, while his alleged victim was taken to a local hospital.
Fisher spoke out soon after the clash insisting he acted in "self-defence" and claimed he’s "not a violent person".
Now he has pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanour charge, reports TMZ.com.
The actor is due back in court next month (Dec11).
