BEYONCE FEARED NEW YORK GIGS WOULD REVEAL PREGNANCY SECRET
Pop superstar BEYONCE feared she would accidentally give away her pregnancy secret during her shows in New York over the summer (11) as she was convinced the crowd could see her baby bump.
The singer is expecting her first child with her rapper husband Jay-Z and she announced the news by unveiling her pregnant belly at the MTV Video Music Awards in August (11).
The big announcement came just weeks after Beyonce played a series of concerts at New York’s Roseland Theater, and the star admits she struggled to keep her bump a secret during the shows.
At a screening of her new concert DVD in the Big Apple on Sunday (20Nov11), Beyonce told reporters, "The whole time I definitely was thinking, ‘Everyone knows, everyone can see.’" Beyonce also reveals she struggled with her dance moves, adding: "When you’re pregnant, it’s a little bit harder to breathe, so it was hard doing all the choreography and singing at the same time."
