VAUGHN LANDS U.K. SOAP ROLE
THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E. star ROBERT VAUGHN is swapping spying for soap operas after landing a role on beloved British TV show CORONATION STREET.
The U.S. TV legend has signed a deal to star in the show - the U.K.’s longest-running soap - for three weeks.
He will play a rich American who woos character Sylvia Goodwin on a cruise trip, according to Britain’s The Sun.
Vaughn became a household name playing secret agent Napoleon Solo in 1960s TV hit The Man From U.N.C.L.E.
