Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 5:22 pm

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE and JESSICA BIEL made their rekindled romance official on Thursday (20Oct11) by attending a party for the actor’s latest premiere together.
The on/off couple parted ways back in March (11), but they sparked rumours of a reconciliation after they began spending time together again in August (11).
The Hollywood pair has not yet confirmed the status of their relationship, but the stars made a statement by stepping out at a party following the Los Angeles premiere of Timberlake’s new thriller In Time.
Timberlake and Biel were seen kissing at the bash, and they even stayed behind past midnight after most guests had gone home.
An onlooker tells People.com, "(They) became more and more affectionate, sneaking kisses, whispering to each other, and sharing quick back rubs and caresses. At one point, she pretended to punch him a couple times and he gamely bounced up and down like a jack in the box."

BELL OPENS UP ABOUT SEX IN SAUCY INTERVIEW

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 5:22 pm

British actor JAMIE BELL has opened up about his sex life in a raunchy new interview, insisting the best way for a man to impress a woman is to be good in bed.
The former child star, who is currently dating actress Evan Rachel Wood, sat down for a saucy chat with Britain’s GQ magazine and discussed his sexual prowess.
When asked about the best way to impress a date, Bell replied, "Buy her flowers? Take her home on the weekend to meet your mother? No. Let’s cut to the primal - be good in the sack. Have an understanding of what’s going on down there and have fun, awesome sex." He adds, "A man should have a good understanding of a vagina. He should be good at oral sex. On a woman… Making fires and pleasing a woman. In the vaginal area." Bell also reveals Hollywood actor Russell Crowe gave him an important tip, adding, "The best piece of advice I ever received was ‘Don’t f**k your publicist’. Russell Crowe told me that. It’s probably a smart move."

STONE CONDEMNS BRITISH RIOTS

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 5:19 pm

British soul star JOSS STONE has condemned the riots in her native U.K. over the summer (11), insisting everyone involved should "go to prison".
Violence broke out in a number of English cities, including London and Manchester, in August (11), with rioters setting buildings on fire, looting shops and causing chaos.
Stone is adamant the rioters were not interested in fighting for social change and should pay for their crimes.
She tells Theage.com.au, "There is a reason to protest in England at the moment, but that’s not why the riots happened. Nobody was standing up with anything to say, they weren’t fighting for s**t. They were just destroying people’s homes and small businesses, and people died. I hope they all go to prison. Fighting each other is ridiculous."

TIMBERLAKE BUSY BRAINSTORMING FOR MYSPACE

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 5:19 pm

Singer/actor JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE will keep busy during an upcoming hiatus by brainstorming ways to revamp social networking site MySpace.com.
Timberlake, who is a MySpace shareholder, is taking a break from the spotlight in the coming months, but he wants to use his time off to plan ways to return the forum to its former glory.
He tells MTV.com, "I don’t have anything on my plate other than think-tanking a lot of different ideas for MySpace, which doesn’t require a lot of my literally being present. I can come up with ideas on the golf course. I can come up with ideas on a mountain while I’m snowboarding.
"Seriously, I don’t have anything on my plate for the rest of the year. I am going to take a vacation. I’m going to find out what a vacation really is." MySpace was the most popular social networking site in 2006 until users flocked to Facebook.com.
Coincidentally, Timberlake played Napster co-founder Sean Parker in The Social Network, a film inspired by the beginnings of Facebook.

POINTER SISTERS GIG AXED AFTER COSTLY RUGBY WORLD CUP

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 5:16 pm

Promoters in New Zealand have been forced to cancel a concert by THE POINTER SISTERS after over-spending on the 2011 Rugby World Cup.
The I’m So Excited hitmakers were due to perform at the TSB Bank Arena in Wellington next month (23Nov11) but the gig has been called off.
Organisers blamed disappointing ticket sales and high entrance fees for World Cup matches, which started on 9 September (11) and is the largest sporting event ever held in the country.
Pacific Entertainment general manager Robyn Alexander says, "Sadly the hype surrounding the World Cup, as it has with many other shows, has literally sucked out disposable income…
"I do think a lot of people like them (the Pointer Sisters), but the World Cup has taken a lot of money out of the economy… Yesterday people were lining up to pay $1,500, $1,600, $1,700 to buy tickets to the Cup final. That means there’s just not going to be any money around for a while because we are all struggling anyway." The trio’s show in Auckland on 22 November (11) is still scheduled to go ahead as planned.

YORKE CALLS FOR URGENT CLIMATE CHANGE ACTION

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 5:16 pm

RADIOHEAD rocker THOM YORKE has urged politicians to forge ahead with plans to combat climate change after a leading research project dismissed claims the issue has been overhyped.
Campaigners pushing for radical action to head off global warming were blindsided in 2009 when leaked emails from researchers in the U.K. suggested statistics had been manipulated.
A major investigation was undertaken by U.S. scientific group the Berkeley Earth Project in the wake of the allegations, and the results - confirming the Earth’s surface is increasing in temperature - were published on Friday (21Oct11).
Environmentally-conscious Yorke has posted the results on the band’s website and called for politicians to resume research into ways of dealing with the issue.
He writes, "The Berkeley Earth Project has concluded that the Earth is definitely warming. Set up after a bizarre last ditch campaign to question/sabotage the science of global warming in 2009 around ‘climategate’ this further undermines those who continue to tell us what we’d like to hear, that it ain’t real and there’s nothing to be done.
"Will it draw a big black thick line under this guff so that we can finally and seriously move on and start to change the way our world functions????"

KHAN MUST PAY DEPOSIT TO SECURE RA.ONE RELEASE

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 5:13 pm

Bollywood’s biggest star SHAH RUKH KHAN has been told he must pay a $200,000 (£125,686) court deposit to secure the release of his new superhero movie RA.ONE.
The Indian actor is currently embroiled in a copyright battle over the action movie after scriptwriter Yash Patnaik accused Khan and his production firm of stealing a concept he created.
Khan is expected to hand over the deposit to ensure the film’s release goes ahead next week (begs24Oct11), to coincide with the Diwali festival.
A court will then hear both sides of the argument at a future date.
Patnaik is demanding 10 per cent of the film’s profits, alleging he developed the idea for an Indian superhero in 2006 and shared his plan with Ra.One scriptwriter Mushtaq Sheikh.
Ra.One has already made history as the most expensive Bollywood production to date.

KUTCHER TALKS ‘HONESTY’ IN CRYPTIC NEW VIDEO

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 1:28 pm

ASHTON KUTCHER appears to have addressed recent rumours about his marriage by discussing the value of "honesty" and "truth" in a new online video.
The Hollywood actor has been a regular in the headlines over the last few weeks amid reports his marriage to Demi Moore is in trouble after a model went public with allegations she spent a night with Kutcher last month (Sep11).
Neither of the stars have publicly commented on the story, but Kutcher has now posted a video online which shows him talking candidly about honesty.
In the homemade footage, the Just Married star discusses the history of literature, and claims the rise of the internet and social media has intensified the spread of gossip.
He says, "I just wanted to open up a little dialogue on the state of honesty. The state of truth. The status of truth as it pertains to literature and media… Publishers (once) held great scrutiny over what they were willing to print because their reputation was on the line. When the cost structure comes down on printing… the level of honesty of literature starts to plummet… I started thinking about that in relation to media and social media today where the threshold to actually have literature printed and distributed… is zero dollars… thereby there is no gatekeeper of the truth…" Kutcher adds, "We are our own editors, we are our own publishers and we are our own printers. Therefore, people can b**tardise the truth in any way, shape or form that they want and spread that around the world… A lie can travel halfway around the world before the truth can leave someone’s lips…
"I was thinking that we really have to take it upon ourselves to instil a level of honesty… in the works in the media that we create and share with one another… and be certain that we are doing our own diligence that what we are saying is for the benefit of another."

Stone tells Britain’s Daily Express, "We’d been in the studio for about three to four days and we just wrote loads of songs. Then Dave said: ‘I’ve got an idea - let’s try some of them out at your mum’s place’.

WELCH’S DRINK BAN HAS IMPROVED HER VOICE

Welch has stuck to her pledge, and she is now noticing other plus points of staying sober.
She tells Britain’s The Sun, "I have stopped drinking on tour. I feel a bit more responsibility for my body and for my fans who come to see us. I had shows every day and I can’t do that with a hangover. So I’ve been good to myself.

HOPPUS PROUD OF BARKER’S ‘DEDICATION’ TO TOUR

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 1:22 pm

BLINK-182 star MARK HOPPUS has praised his bandmate TRAVIS BARKER for working around his fear of flying on their international tour by travelling on buses and boats.
The drummer spent months in recovery after a 2008 plane crash which claimed the lives of two friends, and now refuses to travel by air.
His phobia has forced the rockers to change the way they tour, but Hoppus insists he’s proud of the band’s "will" and "dedication".
The bassist tells the BBC, "For Travis to get over here (to the U.K.) he takes a bus from Los Angeles to New York, gets on a boat then gets on a bus and travels like that. It’s definitely a lot more work to get him over here, but it just shows the level of dedication we have.
"It shows the will that we have to come and play over here that Travis is willing to get on a boat for a week after being in a bus for three days - just to play some shows."
