MARK WAHLBERG has distanced himself from a starring role in a planned reality show documenting the launch of his new burger joint.
The actor is teaming up with his brothers to open a high-end restaurant, called Wahlburgers, and recently revealed a TV series chronicling the restaurant venture is in the works.
But The Departed star insists he would rather work behind the scenes than appear in the show.
He says, "Maybe I’ll be the Charlie’s Angels of reality TV. You’ll hear my voice. But obviously it’s something that we’d want to control in every aspect and produce and make sure that we were doing something really quality."

Rocker NOEL GALLAGHER was left red-faced when he mistook singer/actor JASON DONOVAN for a roadie.
The former Oasis star was waiting for an aide named Jason outside a car park when a vehicle pulled up and Gallagher greeted the occupant, thinking it was his pal.
But the SUV was actually carrying Australian star Donovan - and he ordered his driver to stop so he could chat to the ‘fan’.
Gallagher tells Aussie radio station Triple M, "I was out one night doing late night shopping. I was with my roadie in a black Range Rover, his name is Jason, and he went to park the Range Rover in a car park.
"He was coming to meet me outside the shops, so I’m waiting outside the car park and out pulls this black Range Rover that I think is my roadie, Jason. He drives straight past so I shout, ‘Jason, what the f**k are you doing?’ and this black car pulls up and it was Jason Donovan.
"He thought I’d just seen him in the street and was shouting ‘Jason’ like a fan. He wound the window down and went, ‘G’day mate how’s it goin? Are you alright?’ and I was kind of thinking, ‘What the f**k is going on here?’ About 10 seconds later my Jason pulled up behind him in an identical car. I was like, ‘This is so f**king weird’.
"I was thinking, ‘Did he think I’d just stood on the street going there’s Jason Donovan?’ Not cool."

British singer PIXIE LOTT is to enjoy a midnight feast with fans during a live webchat this weekend (03-04Sep11).
The Mama Do hitmaker releases her new single, All About Tonight, online on Saturday (03Sep11) and she is celebrating with a question-and-answer session on her Facebook page.
She is urging fans to stock up on drinks and snacks ahead of the event so they can enjoy a late-night feast while chatting with her.
In a video posted on YouTube.com, Lott says, "All About Tonight is released on iTunes this Saturday… to celebrate its release, I’m going to do a live webchat from my actual flat (apartment) at midnight, so I’d love for all of you to get involved.
"I’m really excited and it’s going to be amazing. I know it’s a bit of a late one so I will make sure that we post the webchat online so you can see what happened. But hopefully all of you kids will stay up and join in with the celebration of the single launch, and we can have lots of fun at midnight - have a little midnight feast. I’m really excited." SEBASTIAN BACH has been given a boost after Hurricane Irene destroyed his home - he found a priceless KISS album in the wreckage.
The former Skid Row rocker was devastated after his New Jersey house was destroyed by the storm, causing him to lose irreplaceable mementos and one-of-a-kind rock memorabilia.
But his spirits were lifted on Wednesday (31Aug11) after he discovered his childhood copy of KISS’ Alive! in the carnage.
Bach posted a picture of the record on his Facebook.com page, writing, "Ripped today from the clutches of Irene… this is the exact copy if (sic) KISS Alive! that my dad gave to me when I was 10 years old. Years later Gene Simmons was cool enough to sign it for me… This was yanked out of Irene’s soggy clutches… & ynow (sic) what? F**k you Irene!" The star is now planning to relocate to Los Angeles to start afresh.

Pop star RONAN KEATING has completed a marathon swim across the Irish Sea for charity.
The Boyzone singer and his relay team, which included Olympic medallist swimmer Stephen Parry, touched land on a beach in Wicklow, Ireland on Thursday morning (01Sep11).
They began their 56-mile (90-kilometre) swim, in aid of Cancer Research UK and the Marie Keating Foundation, in Holyhead, Wales on Tuesday night (30Aug11).
Boyzone bandmate Keith Duffy was quick to applaud Keating on his accomplishment, ‘tweeting’, "Congratulations to ronan and all his team mates for swimming the Irish Sea for Cancer Research UK! An amazing achievement, well done."

JUSTIN BIEBER has given his pal SEAN KINGSTON a boost after his near-fatal jet ski accident earlier this year (11), by recording new music with the R&B star.
The Baby hitmaker visited Kingston in Miami, Florida while he recovered from severe injuries following a horrific ocean crash in May (11).
Now Bieber is helping his friend with his musical comeback by inviting him to work on new material in a Los Angeles studio, alongside producer J. R. Rotem.
In a post on his Twitter.com page, Bieber writes, "Had a great studio session with my big bro Sean Kingston and the talented jonathanrotem. GOODMUSIC." It’s not the first time the duo has worked together - the stars co-wrote their 2010 pop track Eenie Meenie.

CHRIS BROWN is urging the mystery fan who found his lost Rolex watch to come forward - so he can reward her with free concert tickets.
The R&B star’s diamond-encrusted timepiece was thrown into the audience during Brown’s performance at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday (28Aug11).
One guest found the $22,000 (£13,750) watch and handed it over to the singer’s security guard - and now Brown wants to show his appreciation by thanking her personally.
A spokesperson tells TMZ.com Brown wants the unnamed woman to contact him so he can reward her with tickets and backstage passes to one of his upcoming concerts.

DANNY BOYLE has issued a desperate plea for male performers in London to join his 2012 Olympic Games ceremonies after he was inundated with applications from female volunteers.
The Slumdog Millionaire director launched a casting call last month (Aug11) for 10,000 people to fill roles as dancers, actors and percussionists in the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the upcoming Games.
But Boyle is still in need of a few good men - because the majority of applicants have been women.
He says, "The majority of applications so far are from women and I want to see an equal amount of men. So boys don’t be shy! "Whether you’re from an arts groups, sports club or just an enthusiastic individual, we have a role for you in the ceremonies, an experience of a lifetime."

Actress PAZ DE LA HUERTA is playing up her bad girl reputation with a new advertising campaign teaching women "how to strategically flash" their underwear.
The Boardwalk Empire star can be seen showing off ruffled pink lingerie under a black jacket as she steps out of a car in Agent Provocateur’s latest promo.
The lingerie company’s creative director Sarah Shotton tells Women’s Wear Daily, "We always try and choose girls that are true Agent Provocateurs, and she definitely is AP through and through.
"She’s got an amazing body and she’s naturally very, very sexy. We wanted (the campaign) to be a little more riskier (sic) in a way. I thought, ‘Why don’t we do a campaign that celebrates that you’re wearing Agent Provocateur… a guide to how to strategically flash your lingerie?’" De La Huerta is no stranger to controversy - in January (11), she was photographed accidentally exposing a breast after she was banned from a Golden Globes party. HARRY POTTER star TOM FELTON is encouraging fans to give generously to a fund set up for a five-year-old cancer patient.
Jack Marshall was diagnosed with a brain tumour just after he began school, and he later sustained brain damage from high-strength chemotherapy treatment.
The British actor is pledging his support to the Jack Marshall Brain Tumour Fund and has asked his devotees to follow his lead.
In a post on his Twitter.com page, Felton appeals for donations from "anyone who can possibly help and would like to", sharing a link to Marshall’s fundraising website.
The cash will be used to pay for the youngster’s ongoing treatment and to raise awareness of childhood brain tumours.
