Actress KATE HUDSON has teamed up with her best pal to launch a jewellery line.
The blonde beauty and new mum collaborated with longtime friend Laurie Lynn Stark, who owns Los Angeles-based jewellery brand Chrome Hearts, on a new collection called CH+KH.
The Almost Famous star tells fashion publication Elle magazine, "It occurred to us, we spend all of this time together - why don’t we make something?" And the pair did just just that.
Stark adds, "We used a lot of aquamarines because Kate loves them, but, to me, they also evoke her personality. She’s so open and light." The bohemian-inspired, ultra-feminine pieces can be purchased at select Chrome Heart boutiques.

LADY GAGA has struck up a new romance with TV actor TAYLOR KINNEY, according to a U.S. report.
The Bad Romance singer met Kinney in July (11) while shooting her latest music video You And I, in which he plays a mad scientist.
And a source tells People.com, Gaga and The Vampire Diaries star are now an item and have been "hooking up".
The pair was most recently spotted celebrating America’s Labor Day (05Sep11) together in Mission Viejo, California.
Gaga’s on/off romance with musician Luc Carl ended earlier this year (11).

Filmmaker CAMERON CROWE unveiled what he called "the Holy Grail" of the Seattle, Washington grunge scene movement of the early 1990s when he screened footage of PEARL JAM’s EDDIE VEDDER dancing with KURT COBAIN on late-night TV in America on Thursday (08Sep11).
The Almost Famous director was promoting his new Pearl Jam documentary on the Late Night With Jimmy Fallon show and he treated fans to a sneak peek of one of the most important pieces of the film after the host asked him if it was true that Vedder and Nirvana frontman Cobain didn’t get along.
The moviemaker told Fallon, "This piece of film is really kind of the Holy Grail; this was a piece of film that we weren’t even sure existed.
"Nirvana and Pearl Jam had a little bit of a controversy; I think it was trumped up in the press quite a bit; it was kind of, like, a high school thing… and really I think the musicians all knew each other. But Kurt and Eddie Vedder had a little bit of a back and forth thing going on in the press.
"They also were friends on the side and there was this mythical piece of footage that happened while Eric Clapton is playing Tears in Heaven at the VMAs (MTV Video Music Awards) and Kurt and Eddie have a moment below the stage, where they slow dance… and it’s a beautiful moment.
"There’s an amazing look on Eddie’s face as the shot is ending, and you see Eddie, he looks like he’s a teenager - he’s so happy that he’s shared this moment with Kurt Cobain away from the glare of the media." The show climaxed with Pearl Jam, who are celebrating their 20th anniversary, performing new song Ole for the first time.
Crowe’s film, Pearl Jam Twenty - which also features footage of the band’s first rehearsal six days after Vedder became their singer - is released on Tuesday (13Sep11).

Embattled rapper T.I.’s wife TAMEKA ‘TINY’ COTTLE has accused prison officials of treating the star unfairly because of his celebrity status.
The hip-hop star, real name Clifford Harris, Jr., walked free from an Arkansas incarceration facility last Wednesday (31Aug11) after serving 10 months of an 11-month sentence for a probation violation, but he was hauled back to prison just two days later (01Sep11) after he was caught allegedly conducting banned business meetings onboard a luxury bus transporting him to a halfway house in his native Georgia.
It appears lawmakers were unhappy that his manager and two producers from TV network VH1 were passengers on the bus.
In documents, a prison representative writes, "Such people were not authorised to travel with him in the conditions of furlough." The rapper also fell foul of the law by allegedly discussing potential business ventures with the VH1 executives, which was not allowed under prison guidelines.
But now the star’s attorney Steve Sadow insists he was unaware that his client had flouted any prison rules, telling MTV News, "Bureau of Prison officials did not specifically state at any time that T.I. was limited to being in the vehicle with his wife and no one else. There is nothing that was specifically instructed or directed on this.
"He had no reason to think there would be a problem travelling with these particular people, because his manager had been approved for visitation and had seen him several times at the facility in Arkansas and the producer had been approved for visitation and had seen him several times." And Harris, Jr.’s wife Cottle has now blasted officials for imprisoning the star again, telling TMZ.com, "It’s important that the world know how unfair he’s being treated on such minor charges… all because he’s T.I.
"There are way more dangerous and carefree (celebrities) that get slapped on the wrist and sent on their way. Our family needs (him)… and because of someone’s personal vendetta against him, we have to watch our kids’ sad faces everyday when he still doesn’t show up at home." He is scheduled for release in the coming weeks.

British rapper TINIE TEMPAH has been revealed as the mystery bidder who spent $37,500 (GBP23,400) on the first pair of Nike limited edition Back To The Future shoes.
Only 1,500 pairs of the Nike Air Mag shoes will be available at auction on eBay.com, and Tempah snagged the first lot on Thursday night (08Sep11), according to TMZ.com.
The shoes are replicas of the ones Michael J. Fox wore as Marty McFly in Back To The Future II.
All proceeds from sales will benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation, which helps fund research on Parkinson’s Disease, which the actors suffers from.

Hollywood veteran ERNEST BORGNINE can add ordained minister to his impressive resume after presiding over the nuptials of moviemakers ELIA PETRIDIS and MARANATHA HAY.
Petridis, who directs the 94-year-old star in new film The Man Who Shook The Hand of Vicente Fernandez, asked Borgnine to conduct the wedding ceremony in Bellingham, Washington - and he was thrilled when the actor agreed.
He tells The Hollywood Reporter, "We honestly did not think he would marry us due to the fact that it was out of state - and he’s 94. Why would he travel? "We asked him just to give it a shot and he was totally enthusiastic and happy to do it. We were very moved." Borgnine was ordained online for the wedding, which took place on 31 July (11).

Officials at a Jewish rights group have petitioned studio bosses behind MEL GIBSON’s new biblical drama to remove the star from the project - because he doesn’t have "respect and sensitivity for other people’s religious views".
Gibson recently signed on to produce a film about celebrated Jewish warrior Judah Maccabee, who defeated the Greek-Syrian armies in the second century B.C. and inspired the Hanukkah celebration.
But leaders of the Anti-Defamation League are seething at the prospect of Gibson making the movie - because just five years ago he was embroiled in a major scandal after allegedly hurling anti-Semitic remarks at a police officer as he was being arrested for drink driving.
And the civil rights group bosses have taken aim at Warner Bros. movie executives for allowing the Braveheart star to produce and perhaps direct such a meaningful film.
Releasing a statement to TMZ.com, the organisation says, "As a hero of the Jewish people and a universal hero in the struggle for religious liberty, Judah Maccabee deserves better. It would be a travesty to have the story of the Maccabees told by one who has no respect and sensitivity for other people’s religious views."

Actress SHANNYN SOSSAMON is pregnant with her second child.
The A Knight’s Tale actress, who is already mum to eight-year-old son Audio Science, was snapped in Los Angeles sporting a baby bump. She is due to give birth at the end of the year (11).
The father of the child is not yet known.
Her son’s father is children’s author Dallas Clayton.

DIANE KRUGER took time out from shooting upcoming movie FAREWELL, MY QUEEN to celebrate her fifth anniversary with JOSHUA JACKSON in Paris.
The actress has been filming her scenes as Marie Antoinette on location in the French capital, and Jackson recently joined her in the city so they could mark their anniversary with a romantic meal.
Kruger tells Britain’s InStyle magazine, "Life is more important than work. We just celebrated our fifth anniversary. We met up in Paris, gave each other gifts and went to dinner - it was just lovely being together.
"It’s hard sustaining relationships at a distance, but if you want to be together, it comes down to that. And I have had failed relationships because of a lack of commitment to that." Kruger also reveals how she’s kept her romance with Jackson alive: "We have the three-week rule - we have to see each other, otherwise you drift. But we also enjoy our independence. We have our own lives and have a lot to bring back into the relationship because of that. I’m very independent. I’m not sure how I’d deal with someone who wanted to be with me 24/7."

The soccer star has famously sported a range of headline-grabbing hairstyles during his career, including a mohawk, a ponytail, and a ’50s-style quiff.
Now he’s sensationally admitted he refuses to pay the world’s leading barbers to craft his crop, preferring to cut it himself.
Beckham tells British magazine GQ, "It literally is a spur of the moment decision. People try to read too much into it; over the years they’ve said I’ve spent £2,000 on a hairstyle, which I’ve never done.

MATT DAMON is jealous of pal JAKE GYLLENHAAL’s shaved head, because he’s adamant baldness suits his fellow actor.
The Bourne Identity star has shed his locks for upcoming sci-fi thriller Elysium, while his friend Gyllenhaal is also sporting less hair.
But Damon has revealed he hates his new image being compared to Gyllenhaal’s appearance.
He tells People.com, "Wow, I try not to envy, but I have to say Jake’s got a damn good-looking head. He sure does have a beautiful round head.
"Normally you say, ‘That’s a beautiful head of hair, but that’s a beautiful head he’s got.’ Gyllenhaal definitely gets the blue ribbon for the best bald head over me." But Damon is slowly getting used to his new look, and is pleased his wife still finds him attractive without his trademark locks: "It’s really liberating. I get out of the shower and just run the towel over my head and I’m done.
"But the only problem for me was during the summer time. I had to remember to put on sunscreen. I’m not used to that. A friend of mine who is bald told me you only make that mistake once. He was right about that.
"Thank God (my wife) does (still find me attractive), but you know she had to take a whole vow, for better or for worse, so she’s kind of stuck with me!"

Former DEPECHE MODE star VINCE CLARKE is shaping up for a royalties battle with soccer bosses in his native U.K. over their use of the band’s hit track JUST CAN’T GET ENOUGH.
Fans of Scottish team Celtic F.C. have adopted the classic 1981 song as their anthem, and officials at the club occasionally play it over the public address system on match-day.
But the British band’s publishers are now chasing Celtic bosses for performance royalties as the track can often be heard in the background during television coverage of games.
Clarke tells the Daily Record, "I am aware of the song being used because I get updates on that. People are always sending me different links to that song and it’s very flattering, but I don’t know if the publishers are very pleased. They are trying to work out how to collect royalties on the song because it ends up on TV."

Rocker NOEL GALLAGHER has called on British authorities to axe the country’s smoking ban.
Politicians in the former Oasis star’s native England outlawed smoking in public places in 2007, and bars and gig venues now have outdoor zones where customers can puff cigarettes.
But Gallagher is urging the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, to overturn the ban.
He tells Britain’s ES Magazine, "Abolish the smoking ban. I’ve smoked since I was a teenager and now poor souls like me have to stand outside. What really annoys me is that in the winter we’re all outside shivering, with all the squares inside, and then in the summer the squares come outside and it’s like, ‘This is for smokers, get back inside with your Birkenstocks.’"

Rap collective ODD FUTURE have landed their own reality TV series.
The controversial group, fronted by Tyler, The Creator, will star in Loiter Squad, by the makers of prankster TV show Jackass.
The series will consist of 15-minute episodes, with cameras following the stars as they perform pranks, sketches and tracks.
Jackass stars Johnny Knoxville and Jeff Tremaine will work alongside director Spike Jonze to film the show, which is due to air in America on the Adult Swim channel in 2012.

Hip-hop group PUBLIC ENEMY almost cancelled their U.K. gigs this month (Sep11) over the riots that blighted the country in August (11).
Frontman Chuck D admits Americans were cautious about flying to Britain after days of unrest, during which youths looted shops and arsonists caused havoc in various cities across the country.
But the rap legends pressed ahead with their tour plans, insisting they’re not surprised by the behaviour.
During their gig at London’s HMV Forum, Chuck D told fans, "We almost didn’t make this gig because of what happened here a month ago. People in America were going nuts and they were scared about coming over here. They were going: ‘What the f**k is going on in England? A white man is acting like black man.’ "This is a new world order, if you push people they’re going to f**k s**t up. But there is enough to go round for everyone. Tell your government that. Equal rights are important." Meanwhile, rapper Flavor Flav showed sympathy for the incarcerated looters by dedicating track 911 Is A Joke to them, saying, "This to all the people that got locked up over that s**t."

Rocker PETER HOOK has blasted his former NEW ORDER bandmates for reuniting without him, insisting he knew nothing about the planned benefit shows.
Earlier this week (beg05Sep11) it was announced Bernard Sumner and Stephen Morris will be joined by keyboard player Gillian Gilbert for the first time in 10 years when they play two shows later this year (11).
The gigs are taking place in Belgium and France to aid ailing Pulp Fiction filmmaker Michael Shamberg, but Tom Chapman will take the place of bass player Hook, who left the band in 2007.
Now Hook has spoken out after learning of the shows, insisting he feels "sad" his former pals failed to approach him before making the announcement.
In a statement he says, "I first I heard about this on Monday and it has taken me completely by surprise! Everyone knows that New Order without Peter Hook is like Queen without Freddie Mercury, U2 without The Edge, Sooty without Sweep! "On a more serious note, I do not understand the decision the other three have taken. I wish they had approached me first. I do not agree with the methods they have used and feel it would have been courteous and professional to have spoken to me in advance of the announcements. It is very sad."

Celebrity designer RACHEL ZOE cried for weeks after she found out she was pregnant with a son, because she was desperate to have a baby girl.
The stylist and her husband Rodger Berman welcomed little Skyler Morrison in March (11).
But Zoe was distraught when she first realised she would be bringing up a boy, because she had always envisaged having a daughter.
Making the confession on the premiere episode of her Bravo reality show on Thursday night (08Sep11), Zoe said, "I always had this plan in my mind that I was gonna have this little baby girl. I found out I was having a boy, and I did cry for a week. Or two. Maybe even three."
