WRESTLER PIPER WAS FIGHTING WITH BROKEN NECK

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:12 pm

Wrestler-turned-actor ‘ROWDY’ RODDY PIPER is undergoing emergency surgery after doctors discovered he has been fighting with a broken neck.
The grappler, 57, has been struggling with pains in his neck for some time, but brushed off the aches to fight opponents like Terry Funk and Mike ‘The Miz’ Mizanin.
However, Piper has since sought help from medics - and they were stunned to discover he has been wrestling with a serious injury.
In a series of posts on his Twitter.com page, he writes, "So just for the record, I beat, The Miz, Terry Funk, and 2 others guys with a broken neck!!" Piper was admitted to the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles on Monday morning (12Sep11) to undergo treatment for the broken bones - and he wants fans to know he’s not scared.
He adds, "There (sic) using all the smarts (best doctors) they have at UCLA. I SAY BRING IT ON! CUT DEEP!!! I’M NOT AFRAID!!" Piper’s screen credits include appearances on hit TV crime series Cold Case and boxing drama Lights Out.
