BROWN ‘WASN’T DRIVING’ ON NIGHT OF DUI ARREST
Actor ORLANDO BROWN is adamant he wasn’t at the wheel on the night he was arrested for driving under the influence last month (Aug11), insisting he was only listening to a CD in his car.
The former That’s So Raven star was questioned by cops in August (11) when they noticed the vehicle he was in had no licence plate.
The officers noticed the smell of alcohol on Brown and conducted a field sobriety test at the scene, before taking him into custody after he registered more than double the legal limit.
Now the former child star, who has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence, claims he never intended to drive, insisting he was only sitting in the car because he wanted to play his new CD for a friend who was visiting him in Los Angeles.
A representative for the star tells TMZ.com, "He never intended to drive anywhere at all." Brown is due back in court later this month (Sep11).
