AMY WINEHOUSE’s funeral was a "complete celebration" of her life, according to a close pal of the tragic star.
The Back To Black hitmaker was found dead last month (Jul11) and honoured at a private service, attended by family and friends including Kelly Osbourne and Mark Ronson, at a cemetery in north London last Tuesday (26Jul11).
Her father Mitch gave a moving eulogy which recalled a number of amusing stories from Winehouse’s childhood - and the star’s former hairstylist Alex Foden has praised Mitch for drawing on happy times to make the memorial a "celebration" of her life.
Speaking on Amy Winehouse: A Tribute, broadcast on Britain’s ITV2 network, Foden says, "Her funeral was a complete celebration and her dad helped (with) that a lot. Her dad was so together, and her mum was like a tower of strength for her friends."

AMY WINEHOUSE’s father will meet with British government officials on Monday (01Aug11) to outline his plans for a charitable foundation in the tragic star’s memory.
Mitch Winehouse announced plans for the Amy Winehouse Foundation during a moving eulogy at her funeral in London last Tuesday (26Jul11).
He told mourners the organisation will be set up to provide help and support for those with ongoing addiction problems. It will also benefit children and horses, both beloved to the singer.
Mitch has set up a meeting with Keith Vaz MP (Member of Parliament) and Minister for Crime and Security James Brokenshire to present his plans for the charity and seek funding assistance.
Addiction expert Sarah Graham, an advisor for the foundation, tells Britain’s The Times, "It’s all very well building a rehabilitation centre, but we need reassurances that we can work with Government and other agencies to make sure people get referred there, and that beds will be paid for.
"There is no point in having great facilities and great staff if no one refers addicts there. Under the current system it is fantastically difficult to get funding for rehabilitation, with key workers having to get funding from at least three different sources. We need the funding to be made much more straightforward."

SIR MICK JAGGER’s supergroup has been forced to trim the length of their tracks after recording "hour-long" jamming sessions, according to singer DAVE STEWART.
The pair has been creating new material with singer Joss Stone, Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman and reggae superstar Damian Marley under the name SuperHeavy.
The album is set to hit shelves in September (11), and Stewart reveals editing has been the group’s main priority ahead of the release.
Speaking on Britain’s The Andrew Marr Show, he explains, "It’s a whole fusion of different styles - Damian Marley’s Jamaican, A.R. Rahman is Indian and Mick’s from England, so am I, and Joss is from Devon (England).
"Some of the first songs were an hour long, we had to edit them down. We wrote about 30 songs and then we brought it back down to 16 and the album’s out in September."

ORLANDO BLOOM has taken home the costumes he sported in the new THE THREE MUSKETEERS movie, as they’ll make the perfect fancy dress outfits for son FLYNN when he grows up.
The actor donned a series of intricate 17th century period garments for his role as the Duke of Buckingham in the 3D reimagining of Alexandre Dumas’ classic tale.
And Bloom, who is married to model Miranda Kerr, has kept his kooky on-screen wardrobe to hand down to his son, who was born in January (11).
He says, "When I worked on The Three Musketeers I embraced all of it. I think that getting dressed up and stuff - I love a frock - really informs what you’re doing.
"The boots are staying, and the costumes, too. That’s definitely a fancy dress outfit one day down the line - probably for my son."

Actress EMMA WATSON, British funnyman STEPHEN FRY and beloved author SIR TERRY PRATCHETT have been honoured by the British Scout Association for their inspirational charity work.
The trio was among the group of heroes who received special Scout badges as the traditional boys’ organisation celebrated its 104th birthday.
Fry, who won the IT badge for raising awareness of the internet through his Twitter.com page, says, "Scouting connects people who would otherwise have no reason to be friends. The standards of the Scouting Movement are as important today as they ever were - you have to be kind, be considerate, be thoughtful and you have to push yourself. If there’s any better advice for any young person I’ve yet to hear it." Special badges were also awarded to soul star Adele, Olympic gold winner James Cracknell and British TV presenter James May.

Veteran actress DAME HELEN MIRREN has fought off competition from younger rivals JENNIFER LOPEZ and KELLY BROOK to be named the best body in showbiz.
The Queen star, 66, topped the poll voted for by members of British gym chain LA Fitness, leaving Amazonian supermodel Elle Macpherson in second place.
Brook and Lopez came third and fourth respectively, while U.K. singer Cheryl Cole rounded out the top five.
David Beckham topped the men’s poll, while James Bond star Daniel Craig was named runner-up. Johnny Depp came third, Brad Pitt was voted fourth and Australian singer Peter Andre was fifth.

MARY J. BLIGE and EDWARD NORTON were celebrated for their charity work at RUSSELL SIMMONS’ annual gala on Saturday (30Jul11).
The music mogul hosted the Art For Life benefit event for the Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation at his East Hampton estate in New York.
Norton and Blige, as well as Jimmy Choo co-founder Tamara Mellon, were feted for their philanthropy and career achievements during the ceremony, while singer Jennifer Hudson also performed a short set.
Norton took to the stage to accept his award, and applauded Simmons’ own charity work to help youngsters’ creativity flourish.
He told the crowd, "When you don’t invest in the inventors of tomorrow, the economists of tomorrow, the doctors of tomorrow, (they) won’t emerge because you haven’t taught people to think in their individual creative ways. Creativity fuels everything that makes America dynamic."

JENNIFER ANISTON threw a final house party at her sprawling $42 million (£28 million) Beverly Hills mansion on Friday (29Jul11) to celebrate selling the property.
The former Friends star bought the estate in 2006 for $13.5 million (£9 million), and then spent more than two years renovating it.
She moved in just before her 40th birthday in 2009, but put the mansion on the market earlier this year (11) as she prepares to move to New York.
And after it was snapped up by a buyer, Aniston celebrated by throwing a bash for her closest pals and new boyfriend Justin Theroux, according to People.com.
A source tells the website,
 "Jen had a party at her Beverly Hills house Friday night - a little going away party since she plans on spending so much more time in New York.

CEE LO GREEN has partnered with beverage company 7UP for a new advertising campaign to promote individuality.
The F**k You hitmaker has signed on to be the face of the lemon-lime drink brand and is set to launch a collection of commercials and adverts for the Be Clear But Don’t Be Invisible campaign.
He tells Entertainment Tonight, "We’re both advocates of individuality and want to encourage that using the platform and the influence that we have." And as well as sending a good message, Green is a big fan of the soda taste: "I’ve been drinking 7UP since I was a kid, I can honestly say."

The RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS stunned locals in Venice Beach, California on Saturday (30Jul11) by rocking out on a rooftop for a video shoot.
The rockers ventured to new heights to film a promo for their upcoming single The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie.
A few fans were lucky enough to witness the performance after bassist Flea told his Twitter.com followers about the shoot just before it kicked-off.

British band TAKE THAT fought back tears as they brought their smash-hit European tour to an end in Germany on Friday night (29Jul11).
The pop stars have been on the road with their Progress Live trek since May (11), and played their final concert to thousands of adoring fans at Munich’s Olympiastadion.
Cheeky bandmember Robbie Williams made the gig one to remember by dropping his trousers and baring his bottom during a rendition of his track Come Undone.
He joked to the crowd, "It’s just way too bootylicious for you all." But the evening took an emotional turn when the reunited five-piece hugged onstage and wiped away tears as they played the final songs of their set.
Singer Mark Owen told the audience, "We don’t know quite how we feel inside." Speaking prior to the show, Williams, who rejoined the group last year (10) after a 15-year absence, explained, "It’s strange and weird because of the history me and the boys share together. Then we all go our separate ways."

BILLY RAY CYRUS paid his respects to the victims of the twin tragedies in Norway during a trip to Oslo over the weekend (29-31Jul11).
The Scandinavian nation was plunged into mourning last month (Jul11) after terrorist attacks in the capital city and on the island of Utoya left a total of 76 people dead.
Cyrus jetted into the country for a show at the Seljord Festival on Saturday (30Jul11), and took time out to visit a special memorial site in Oslo.
The singer took to his Twitter.com page to post a picture of a sea of floral tributes, writing, "Made it safely to one of the most beautiful countries I have ever seen in all the world. The people are strong… wonderful and proud!!!! "As the sun set I prayed for peace and healing… and I felt it… I saw it. I love this country. My heart is with you 4 ever more… PEACE. I’m gonna miss it here. This is a special place… with special people. HATE MUST STOP." The tragedy was clearly weighing on Cyrus’ mind - he revisited the site again on Sunday evening (31Jul11), telling fans, "Couldn’t stop thinking about the kids so I took a cab back to the memorial."

WESTLIFE singer KIAN EGAN is preparing for fatherhood - his wife is pregnant with their first child.
Egan and his partner Jodi Albert, who sings with girl band Wonderland, wed in 2009 and now the stars are set to become first-time parents.

Actor JASON LONDON has wed his girlfriend of two years in an intimate ceremony in her native Vermont.
The Dazed and Confused star exchanged vows with actress Sofia Karstens in North Hero on 16 July (11), and London admits he found the big day overwhelming.

AL PACINO flew from Los Angeles to New York over the weekend (30-31Jul11) to be with his daughter following her arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI).
Julie Pacino, 21, was detained at a checkpoint in Manhattan on Saturday (30Jul11) after authorities found her blood alcohol level to be over the legal limit.
The actor, who is currently filming his role as Phil Spector for an HBO movie, immediately abandoned his schedule and jetted to America’s East Coast to be with Julie, his daughter with acting coach Jan Tarrant.
Julie was arraigned on Saturday afternoon and subsequently released, according to People.com.
