SLIPKNOT rocker COREY TAYLOR has undergone eye surgery to improve his vision.
The musician underwent the corrective eye procedure on Saturday (27Aug11) at the Lasik of Nevada clinic, and posted a picture of the vision correction centre on his Twitter.com page ahead of the treatment, writing: "Here we go…" And the rocker is pleased with the outcome - on Sunday (28Aug11) he added, "My procedure went EXCELLENT (sic) and I am now equipped with 20/10 vision! Thank you Dr. Rothman! And thanks to Lasik Of Nevada!! X-ray vision!!!"

Rocker MORRISSEY is undergoing more treatment to his broken finger after it failed to heal for more than two months.
The former The Smiths frontman was injured in June (11) after he was bitten on his right hand by a dog while on tour in the U.K.
His index finger was wrapped in a protective bandage and medics expected it to mend itself within weeks - but the singer is now having further treatment at a hospital in London because the digit has still not healed.
A spokesman for the star says, "Morrissey has been attending the Wellington Hospital in London for treatment for his right index finger, which remains broken. Morrissey was bitten by a dog in June."

LIAM GALLAGHER is pushing ahead with legal action against his brother Noel, despite the former OASIS guitarist’s public apology over their recent spat.
The warring brothers have been at loggerheads since the Wonderwall hitmakers split in 2009, and their feud escalated earlier this year (11) when Noel claimed the band was forced to pull out of Britain’s V Festival two years ago (09) because singer Liam had a hangover.
Liam was furious at the remarks, insisting he had a doctor’s note confirming he was suffering from laryngitis, and he issued a high court writ against his brother, demanding he retract the comments.
Last week (beg22Aug11), Noel admitted it was "a fact" that his brother was suffering from a sore throat at the time, and he apologised for his remarks - sparking reports Liam has now dropped his lawsuit.
But on Monday (29Aug11) it emerged the legal action is still pending, and Liam is believed to be holding out for a written apology from his brother.
The Beady Eye frontman tells the BBC, "It’s not over yet. There are a few things which need to be sorted out. I didn’t want this to happen. It’s not nice suing your family but like I said, he was telling porkies (lies) for the sake of his mates and journalists to get a wise crack on me… If he listens to his lawyers and does the right thing then it’ll be well and truly over. I never wanted it to happen but it has to happen."

Pregnant actress HILARY DUFF has received $100,000 (£62,500) from bosses behind the upcoming BONNIE & CLYDE movie, despite chiefs axing her from the film.
The star was reportedly dumped from the project in May (11) but she insisted the story was false and she would still be playing notorious bank robber Bonnie Parker on the big screen.
Earlier this month (Aug11) it emerged Duff, who recently announced her pregnancy, has officially been dropped from the movie.
But the singer/actress will still be paid by the producers of The Story of Bonnie & Clyde - she’s reportedly received $100,000 (£62,500) as part of a severance deal, according to TMZ.com.
Duff reportedly signed a contract which meant she would be compensated with the sum whether she appeared in the film or not.
The star tells the website, "I dont wanna give them any more press than they’ve already gotten off me… I think (my) baby is a little bit more exciting."

Actress KIRSTIE ALLEY has congratulated the emergency services who helped save victims of this weekend’s (27-28Aug11) savage hurricane across America’s East Coast.
At least 25 died after Hurricane Irene ripped through states including New Jersey, Virginia and North Carolina, leaving a trail of destruction.
Now Alley, who was on the U.S. East Coast when the storm made landfall, has heaped praise on the rescue teams who helped save New York residents from the disaster.
In a post on Twitter.com, she writes, "Admiration to all the Firefighters and rescue teams who helped save so many lives during the storms & floods across the East… Humbled."

HUGH HEFNER’s ex-girlfriend KENDRA WILKINSON has overcome her postpartum depression by regaining her svelte figure.
The former Playboy Playmate and her husband Hank Baskett welcomed their first son, Hank Baskett IV, in 2009.
Now the former Girls Next Door star has opened up about her struggles following his birth as she tried to lose her baby weight and adjust to motherhood.
Wilkinson admits she became moody because the pregnancy wrecked her famously impressive figure and she felt pressurised to return to her former glory.
She tells People.com, "I felt like I had to be a different person. I had to be conservative and wear turtlenecks and be someone that I wasn’t. Now that I have my body back and I feel good again, I have the perfect amount of balance. It’s all about finding the balance.
"It got pretty bad, (but) not to the point where I would harm my family. I was a great mom and did what I needed to, but I was definitely very depressed. (Motherhood is) a big change in life and it happened overnight.
"At the time I was doing whatever I could for the baby, but I lost myself and it was really frustrating. Being in the spotlight is a lot of pressure about losing the weight, (especially) coming from the Playboy world.
"A lot of women suffer from PPD (postpartum depression). It needs to be talked about."

Actor MATTHEW FOX was held by police on Saturday (27Aug11) after clashing with a woman outside a bar, according to a U.S. report.
The Lost star had attempted to board a party bus in Cleveland, Ohio but was confronted by the female driver as he was not on the guest list.
A tussle ensued, and an off-duty police officer at the scene handcuffed Fox, according to TMZ.com. The actor was later quizzed by police and released, but was not formally arrested.
Cops in Cleveland are still investigating the incident.

RIHANNA was left frantic with worry earlier this month (Aug11) after her father was hospitalised with tropical disease dengue fever.
The Umbrella hitmaker, real name Robyn Fenty, visited her dad Ronald Fenty in their native Barbados in early August (11), but just days after the star’s trip, her father fell ill.
Fenty was rushed to hospital where doctors diagnosed him with dengue fever - and he admits his health battle scared his daughter.
He tells Britain’s The Sun, "It was horrible. I thought I was going to die. I was actually in a hospital ward that Robyn’s friend worked in as a doctor. She offered me her BlackBerry to call Robyn.
"I called her and she was worried - she said, ‘Daddy, what’s wrong with you?’ Luckily I pulled through after a scary few days."

The stars, as well as singer Jewel and Matthew McConaughey’s partner Camila Alves, have embellished trousers to auction off for the Celebrities 4 Maternity Denim sale.
Money raised from the auction will benefit the March of Dimes organisation, which helps women achieve full-term pregnancies and healthy babies.

LINDSAY LOHAN’s teenage brother Cody called cops in New York last week (end28Aug11) after a series of intimidating phone calls left him fearing for his safety.
The 15 year old alleges a mystery caller is repeatedly ringing his cell phone and threatening to "harm him".

British singer BEVERLEY KNIGHT is keen to become a mum after finding true love with her fiance.
The soul star became engaged to her production technician boyfriend James O’Keefe in October (10) and they’re planning to wed next summer (12).
Knight, 38, admits that before she met O’Keefe she had no desire to settle down - but now she’s thinking about putting her music career on hold to be a mother in the future.

Country star ADAM HARVEY cancelled his gig at an Australian music festival over the weekend (27Aug11) after falling sick.

LA TOYA JACKSON has paid a touching tribute to her late brother Michael on his birthday, by posting a personal family snap on the internet.
The Thriller hitmaker, who passed away in 2009, would have turned 53 on Monday (29Aug11), and to mark the occasion La Toya has taken to Twitter.com to post a photo of Michael on the last birthday he spent with the Jackson family in 2004.

Opera singer SALVATORE LICITRA is recovering after he was seriously injured in a road accident in Italy.
The tenor was riding his scooter in southern Sicily on Saturday night (27Aug11) when he lost control of the Vespa vehicle and crashed into a wall.
Licitra, who was not wearing a helmet, was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was treated for serious head and chest injuries.
A female passenger, who was wearing a helmet, only suffered minor injuries, reports AFP.

Rocker SEBASTIAN BACH has told of his devastation after his New Jersey home was destroyed by Hurricane Irene.
The former Skid Row singer is planning to move to Los Angeles after a savage storm ripped through the east coast of America, causing a reservoir opposite his house to overflow and send a bridge crashing into his beloved property.
Bach has been left feeling "numb" after losing personal items including master tapes, videos and other rock memorabilia, and he’s not been allowed to enter the property to investigate the destruction due to fears of electrocution.
In a message on his Facebook.com page he writes, "I am numb, in shock and devastated to report that my home of 21 years, my house featured on MTV ‘Cribs’, has been destroyed, condemned and deemed uninhabitable due to the extreme flooding courtesy of Hurricane Irene…
"Original SKID ROW and KISS fans, I have bad news for you. Gone are irreplaceable items, such as my KISS Gargoyles from the 1979 tour. KISS pinball machine. SKID ROW master tapes, video and audio… We will salvage what we can, of course. But how I wish there was a reason to do a box set or something before Hurricane Irene hit. Nobody cared. Now it’s too late. Don’t know what you got till it’s gone, indeed." But Bach is remaining philosophical about the tragedy, insisting the destruction of the house will force him to move on from his divorce, because he couldn’t face selling the marital home.
He adds, "This has really taught me that the best things in life are indeed ‘free.’ What makes me happy is that my children and ex-wife are safe. My dad’s art is unharmed. No one got hurt."

Pregnant singer/actress HILARY DUFF gave up her Saturday (27Aug11) to volunteer at a charity event helping the homeless in Los Angeles.
Duff, who is expecting her first baby with husband Mike Comrie, and her sister Haylie headed to the L.A. Mission’s 75th annual end of the summer block party to offer their services.
The siblings donned matching red aprons as they helped hand out supplies to those in need.
In a post on her Twitter.com page before the event, Duff wrote, "Excited to head downtown to the la mission event today with @HaylieK such a great cause! We will be handing out backpacks (with) school supplies!"
