ROSE MCGOWAN is begging SIR PAUL McCARTNEY’s manager to sell her back her home after realising the awful allergies she experienced while she lived there were caused by her expensive pillows.
The Grindhouse star sold her dream Hollywood home earlier this year (11) after convincing herself she’d never be happy there, but, after moving into a new place and discovering she’s still suffering from swollen eyes and breathing difficulties, she has learned she’s allergic to fine feathers.
The regretful star says, "My eyes kept swelling up there. I spent about $17,000 overhauling the duct system, putting allergy crap (on). Everyday I was staying at hotels because my eyes were, like, swollen like I got stung by a bee.
"I went to the new house, which I loathe… because I had to go somewhere, because I couldn’t take it anymore, and it happened again… (It turns out) I’m allergic to down." McGowan reveals she returned to her old home upon learning what the root of her health problems was - and sobbed in the driveway.
She adds, "I tried to see if the guy would sell me my house back, but he won’t." And she made a personal plea to the new owner during an appearance on late night U.S. chat show Chelsea Lately on Tuesday (09Aug11), stating, "You’re Paul McCartney’s manager… Go away, give me my house back!’"

LINDSAY LOHAN has fired back at reports suggesting she was involved in a seedy street drug deal in Venice, California, insisting the story and accompanying online video footage is false.
X17online.com posted the footage of what appears to be a sidewalk drug deal online on Wednesday (10Aug11). In it, the actress appears to be scribbling notes in a pad while a pal inspects a small plastic bag handed to him by a mystery man.
Lohan later appears to hand the suspicious stranger cash.
The footage prompted the actress’ estranged father Michael to blast his daughter for hanging out with "these shady people".
Michael Lohan raged, "These guys look like a bunch of thugs on the streets. Everyone around her looks so shady and dark. How does she ever expect her life to move in the right direction? I can’t believe her! Lindsay has to start to learn to respect herself a lot more, as well as her family and the people in her life that truly care." But the actress insists the story is all wrong.
In a post on her Twitter.com blog, she writes, "X17 is nuts! their false stories are absurd and gross…"

STRYPER frontman MICHAEL SWEET has quit legendary rockers BOSTON.
The singer announced his decision on Wednesday (10Aug11), revealing he wants to dedicate more time to Stryper, the band he co-founded in 1983.
Sweet joined Boston in 2008 and he has spent the last three years splitting his time between the two groups.
He says, "My focus and my loyalty lies with Stryper, the band that I’ve committed almost 30 years of my life to. The guys in Stryper are my brothers and I’m excited about our future together.
"The music of Boston helped shape who I am as an artist, and the opportunity to be a part of their musical legacy is overwhelming. It’s been an honour to share the stage with them, and a bigger honour to call them my friends." There’s no immediate word on who will replace Sweet in Boston.

SIMON COWELL has stunned pop fans by confessing he would have kicked LADY GAGA off the AMERICAN IDOL stage if she’d auditioned for the talent show before becoming a superstar.

But Cowell admits Gaga’s success has made him think twice before dismissing talent: "Now you have to be more open-minded and embrace that level of expression. ADELE has become the first artist to score 12 weeks at number one on the U.S. album chart since SANTANA’s SUPERNATURAL ruled the countdown in 1999 and 2000.
The Brit’s 21 has returned to the top of the chart 24 weeks after it debuted there.
The album is the year’s biggest seller in the U.S., amassing 2.9 million in total.

Norwegian pop stars A-HA are reuniting to perform at a memorial concert honouring those killed in their homeland’s recent massacres.
The country was plunged into mourning on 22 July (11) when right-wing extremist Anders Behring Breivik killed 77 people with a car bomb in Oslo and a shooting rampage on the island of Utoya.
The Take On Me hitmakers, who split for a second time last year (10), were subsequently approached to headline a special show at the Oslo Spectrum concert hall to remember the victims on 21 August (11), which has been declared a national day of mourning.
And bandmates Morten Harket, Magne Furuholmen and Paul Waaktaar-Savoy are flattered to have been asked to play the one-off gig.
A post on their website reads: "On 22 July, we, like everyone else in Norway and the rest of the world, were shaken to the soul by these actions of cruelty and violent provocation against everything we stand for.
"We are grateful to be asked to participate in the memorial ceremony. We do this to honour those who have been torn away, to show appreciation to everyone who made an effort to help on July 22." The memorial show will also feature other top Scandinavian acts.

Funnyman GEORGE LOPEZ’s late night U.S. chat show has been cancelled after two seasons.
The comedian/actor’s Lopez Tonight launched on cable channel TBS in 2009 and became an instant cult hit, but ratings fell drastically after the show was bumped back an hour to 11pm to make way for Conan O’Brien’s nightly programme last year (10).
The last Lopez Tonight will air on Thursday (11Aug11), according to USA Today.

THE VAMPIRE DIARIES star IAN SOMERHALDER is stepping behind the camera to make a documentary about a scientist who is pioneering a farming system to reverse global warming - with a view to landing the guy a Nobel Prize.
The former Lost star met eco-boffin Allan Savory during a recent trip to Zimbabwe and he was so impressed with the scientist’s plans to aid the world’s environmental problems, he has decided to champion him on film.
Somerhalder says, "He’s figured out a way to reverse climate change through agriculture, so I’m directing this documentary about him with Geoff Shotz, our camera director on Vampire Diaries.
"The goal of the movie is to win Allan Savory a Nobel Prize for agriculture, which has never been done." The actor and eco-warrior tells Eonline.com, "You look at things like An Inconvenient Truth, which Al Gore did, and it never once mentions how agriculture contributes more to climate change than anything else in the world. It makes me crazy to think about it, so we’re going to change that."

JAMES FRANCO is making a documentary about the porn industry after realising it isn’t easy to turn people on by having sex on film.
The 127 Hours star once shot a sex tape with his girlfriend and was so disappointed with the result, he vowed never to make another one.
The experience gave him a new respect for porn stars - because they really know how to sell sex.
He says, "When I was young, I got a video camera and my girlfriend and I decided to film ourselves and watched it back and said, ‘Yeah, well, let’s never watch that again.’ "Those people in pornos, they are great performers; they’re not just doing it, they’re selling it to an audience… They’re performing so that an audience can get turned on by that kinda thing.
"My girlfriend and I didn’t know that, so it was just kinda like weird movement… It was really boring." And now the actor/director is planning to make a film about a porn giant, based in San Francisco, California.
He adds, "I actually am very interested in pornography… I watch it, who doesn’t? I’m making a documentary on pornography. There’s this amazing facility in San Francisco… They do everything in house, they build their props in house. It’s an incredible place."

Former SAVED BY THE BELL star MARK-PAUL GOSSELAAR is preparing to wed his new girlfriend, three months after finalising his divorce from LISA ANN RUSSELL.
The actor, 36, officially became a single man again in May (11) when a judge signed off on legal papers ending his 14-year marriage to the mother of his two children - son Michael, seven, and daughter Ava, five.
But the divorce has not put Gosselaar off the idea of marriage - he proposed to advertising executive Catriona McGinn last week (ends05Aug11), his representative has confirmed to Us Weekly.
The star recently gushed about his new fiancee, stating, "She’s absolutely gorgeous, she’s stunning, and she takes my breath away. Catriona’s great with my kids. My kids absolutely adore her."

The Oscar nominee’s husband, actor Julius Tennon, let the baby news slip on the red carpet at the premiere of Davis’ new movie The Help on Tuesday (09Aug11).

LINDSAY LOHAN’s estranged father is furious with the actress after an undercover paparazzi team caught her in what appears to be a street drug deal.
X17.com footage of Lohan and friends hanging out near her home in Venice, California was posted online on Wednesday morning (10Aug11). The 25-year-old actress scribbled notes in a book and chain-smoked cigarettes as a pal inspected a small plastic bag handed to him by a suspicious bystander.
The actress was then seen handing over cash to the mystery man.
Her father Michael Lohan isn’t waiting for an explanation and has blasted his daughter for refusing to give up her seemingly shady friends.
He tells X17.com, "I can’t believe that Lindsay still surrounds herself with these shady people and puts herself in this position. These guys look like a bunch of thugs on the streets. Everyone around her looks so shady and dark.
"How does she ever expect her life to move in the right direction? I can’t believe her! Lindsay has to start to learn to respect herself a lot more, as well as her family and the people in her life that truly care." The actress recently completed a period of house arrest after she was found guilty of violating her probation on a DUI charge.
Lohan has been battling alcohol and substance abuse issues for the past two years and has been in and out of jail and rehab.

Actor ALEC BALDWIN has ruled himself out of the 2013 race for New York mayor - because he wants to return to school to learn all about politics and government before he gets serious about running for office.
The 30 Rock star made his political aspirations known earlier this year (11), when he hinted at plans to quit Hollywood and launch a bid for office in the Big Apple.
He was reported to be considering challenging current mayor Michael Bloomberg for the top job in the 2013 elections, but now insists he would be too busy with his TV commitments to properly campaign for the political post.
But Baldwin admits he also needs to school himself in the basics of politics and do some research about the workings of New York before he opts to officially declare his bid for office, and he’s looking into enrolling in a master’s programme in the autumn of 2012 "to help me better understand what the fiscal imperatives of that job are".
Baldwin tells the New York Times, "What’s the reality of the city unions, of contracts, agreements, teachers, infrastructure, decentralising, everything? And utilities… how does it all work?" Baldwin is under contract until April (12) to film his final season for 30 Rock.

Rapper ROYCE DA 5′9 turned his album release concert on Tuesday (09Aug11) into a boozy affair by treating fans to tequila shots throughout his set.

Metal stars MEGADETH were forced to scrap a performance in Oklahoma on Tuesday (09Aug11) after a member of the band fell ill.
Fans were left disappointed after the rockers pulled out of the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival in Oklahoma City at the last minute.
A statement on their official Facebook.com reads, "Due to a band member illness, Megadeth was forced to cancel tonight’s performance…
"The band apologizes to their fans and everyone in attendance at tonight’s show and hope to return to Oklahoma City as soon as possible." It is not known which bandmate fell ill or what his symptoms were.

GAVIN DEGRAW’s brother has dismissed reports suggesting the singer/songwriter was drunk when he was brutally assaulted in New York on Monday morning (08Aug11).
The Chariot hitmaker was hospitalised with a concussion and a broken nose after he was attacked by three men following a night out with friends at The National, a bar in Manhattan’s Lower East Side that he co-owns with his brother Joey.
Initial reports suggested DeGraw was intoxicated when the altercation occurred, and the star himself fuelled the claims when he admitted he remembered little about the incident.
In a post on Twitter.com, he wrote, "I don’t remember much. I only know I can recover from here." But Joey DeGraw has spoken out to clear up the rumours, insisting his famous sibling "had nothing but cranberry juice to drink" when he met up with his pals, according to the New York Post.
DeGraw was discharged from New York University Hospital on Tuesday afternoon (09Aug11) after undergoing surgery on his nose. He had been transferred to the university facility from Bellevue Hospital, where he was taken by ambulance after the attack.

Reality TV star KIM KARDASHIAN visited her late father’s grave with fiance KRIS HUMPHRIES on Monday (08Aug11) in the lead-up to their wedding.
The socialite took the basketball player to California’s Inglewood Park cemetery, where attorney Robert Kardashian was buried, to pay their respects ahead of the couple’s big day.
Kardashian was left devastated when her beloved dad, who was part of the legal team who successfully defended O.J. Simpson in his murder trial, passed away in 2003.
