KIEDIS FORGAVE FATHER FOR UPBRINGING AFTER SON’S BIRTH

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 9:29 am

Rocker ANTHONY KIEDIS finally forgave his father for his unconventional upbringing after becoming a dad himself.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman was introduced to drugs and rock ‘n’ roll early on by his dealer father Blackie Dammett, who provided narcotics to some of the biggest bands and Hollywood stars.
Despite his upbringing leading to a serious drug problem, Kiedis now understands his father’s actions after becoming a dad in 2007 to his son Everly.
He tells Britain’s The Sun, "The fact my relationship with my son is so good makes me forgiving of my father and also appreciative.
"Now I can look back and say I actually like the upbringing I had and my father was very attentive and a great educator. He just didn’t have the same tools I have today and there was no way he could have acquired them at that point in time. So, yeah, I forgive him for his mistakes and I thank him for giving me so much of his time and energy."

PROFESSOR GREEN SLAMS COLUMNIST OVER RAP RIOT LINKS

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 9:26 am

British rapper PROFESSOR GREEN has lashed out at a newspaper columnist who blamed the U.K.’s recent wave of violent riots on hip-hop culture.
The unrest started in London on Saturday night (06Aug11) and spread across the country’s major cities, with police struggling to combat mass looting, fires and lawlessness.
Britain’s disadvantaged youth has been blamed for the ugly scenes, and journalist Paul Routledge wrote in his column in the Daily Mirror that rap’s "culture of hatred" and hip-hop stars who glamorise violence and crime influenced the thugs’ actions.
But Professor Green - who grew up in Hackney, London, one of the worst affected areas of the rioting - insists the rap genre helps bring people of all classes and backgrounds together.
In a series of posts on his Twitter.com page, he writes, "Paul Routledge is an absolute moron. An absolute f**king moron. Yeah ban rap music, silence our voices even more. Ignorant p**ck. Surely this isn’t about shifting the blame, but accepting responsibility? Neither my music or that of my peers is to blame for society and its faults. We didn’t create the tiers.
"I’ve done hundreds of shows and there’s never been even a fight. My music brings everyone together, not start riots."

The actors also discovered they had odd facial quirks that presented problems when they locked lips for the film.
He tells Celebuzz.com, "Emma’s nose is so flat and mine is so pointy that I would just end up sticking her in the eye every time we kissed. Then it would all fall to pieces. It was like kissing my sister. It was ridiculous!" But he doesn’t want film fans to think he and Stone didn’t get along: "Emma is great, she just makes it so easy. She is so professional and so off-book and so prepared, she’s rehearsed it a million times. At the same, time she is not stuck in her ways and she is adaptable to change and what you’re doing."

KUTCHER & LAURIE ARE HIGHEST PAID ACTORS

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:26 pm

ASHTON KUTCHER has joined HUGH LAURIE as the highest paid actor on TV in America, according to a new magazine study.
Both stars will earn $700,000 (£438,000)-per-episode for Two and a Half Men and House, respectively, when the two high-rated shows return to TV next month (Sep11), but Kutcher also reportedly has a deal in place, where he’ll profit further if his sitcom is a hit.
