Actress SHERRI SHEPHERD has wed TV writer LAMAR SALLY.
The Precious star and co-host of U.S. talk show The View walked down the aisle at the Fairmont Hotel in Chicago, Illinois on Saturday (13Aug11).
She was joined on her big day by her The View co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck and actress Niecy Nash, who introduced Shepherd to her new husband.
She was previously married to funnyman Jeff Tarpley. They are parents to five-year-old son Jeffrey.

The stars of SEX AND THE CITY are reportedly keen to put the lukewarm reaction of last year’s (10) movie sequel behind them by making another series of the hit TV show.
Sarah Jessica Parker and her co-stars are said to be happy to ditch further Hollywood outings and return to the small screen, following the critical backlash and mediocre box office success of Sex and the City 2, reports Britain’s Mail on Sunday.
An insider tells the paper, "Ultimately Darren Star - the man who created the hit series - will have the overall say, but everyone is agreed a TV show is the direction they want to take the franchise in.
"Sarah Jessica Parker will be producing. She was worried about doing another film after the bad reaction to the Sex and the City 2 movie, but a TV show is definitely something she wants to happen." The girls’ return to TV would mean the much discussed big screen Sex and the City prequel will be put on hold. The film, which charts the early lives of Carrie, Charlotte, Samantha and Miranda, has been heavily speculated recently, with actresses Blake Lively, Selena Gomez and Emma Roberts all linked to the movie.
The insider adds, "They want to make the TV series before doing another film."

Veteran Bollywood actor SHAMMI KAPOOR has died at the age of 79.
The versatile Indian actor was rushed to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital on Friday (12Aug11) in critical condition, and died on Sunday (14Aug11) of kidney failure.
Famed for his lighthearted touch in movies, he made his Bollywood debut in 1954, and was part of the Kapoor acting dynasty, which included his successful actor brothers, Raj and Shashi, and their father Prithviraj Kapoor, a well-known theatre personality.
His notable screen credits include Junglee and Professor.
Kapoor is survived by his wife and two children.

Pregnant actress BRYCE DALLAS HOWARD is worried she’ll suffer post-natal depression again following the birth of her second child and is praying she’ll spot early signs of the condition.
The Spider-Man 3 star is expecting her second baby with husband Seth Gabel later this year (11), a sibling for four-year-old Theo.
Howard suffered baby blues following her first son’s birth and sought professional advice to help her through her feelings - and the actress admits she’ll be on the look-out for signs of depression after she gives birth again.
She tells CNN’s Piers Morgan, "I absolutely do (worry). My hope is that at least I’ll have that much more awareness that I need to get help. I mean, I waited so long to get help with my depression. And that was unnecessary. It totally was.
"Just kind of knowing that if it does happen, it is chemical. And there is treatment, and then it will be over, you know? It might be really tough afterwards. And I might go through that again. But just to know that I can handle is just very comforting for me."

CASINO ROYALE star EVA GREEN is delighted the much delayed 23rd James Bond movie is finally happening - hailing DANIEL CRAIG as "cool" and "edgy".
The former Bond girl was dismayed to hear about the problems surrounding the follow-up to 2008’s Quantum of Solace because of financial problems at the MGM film studio.
Executives eventually resolved the issues and the untitled 007 movie is due to begin shooting later this year (11) - and Green couldn’t be happier as she believes her former co-star Craig is one of the best Bonds ever.
She tells Total Film magazine, "I’m happy it’s happening, that’s for sure. Daniel Craig’s great, he’s quite raw, he’s edgy, he’s cool, he’s like a modern Steve McQueen." Craig previously worried that the delays would hinder his chance at reprising his role, admitting, "Either it was going to sort itself out or I was going to get too old and that would be the end of it. I was desperate to have another crack at it. I think I would have felt disappointed eventually."

Rocker BRET MICHAELS is suing a cruise operator over allegations bosses used "a fraudulent scheme" to get him to reduce his fee for two agreed performances.
The Poison star signed up to play a pair of gigs in November (11) on a luxury liner off the coast of Miami, Florida for a reported $750,000 (£468,000) fee.
After he received an initial payment of $250,000 (£156,000), Michaels alleges the firm began complaining about poor ticket sales in a fraudulent bid to lower his fee.
He filed suit against bosses at Shoreline on Monday (08Aug11), blaming the promoter for failing to fulfil "contractual obligations".
Michaels is seeking damages, court costs and attorney’s fees, according to TheWrap.com.

Folk stars MUMFORD & SONS are taking time out of their busy schedule to provide the entertainment at a family wedding.
The rockers are currently recording the follow-up to their hit debut Sigh No More, but they’ve agreed to perform at a reception for keyboardist Ben Lovett’s sister.
The band will thrill guests at Lovett’s family farm in Devon, England on Saturday (12Aug11).
A source tells Britain’s The Sun, "Ben was keen to get the band to play at the ceremony.
"His parents have built a stage next to the swimming pool for the event. It will be their smallest gig in years, just 200 people, and there will be none of the pressure of their live shows.
"The setting is beautiful and it will give them a chance to relax away from the studio."

MIRANDA COSGROVE’s mum was badly injured in the bus crash which left the teenage singer/actress with a broken ankle on Thursday morning (11Aug11).
The iCarly star and her entourage were en route to Wichita, Kansas for a concert on Friday (12Aug11) when their bus collided with a tractor.
Cosgrove was left with a broken ankle, forcing her to pull out of her Dancing Crazy Tour.
But the 18 year old wasn’t only the person hurt in the accident - her mum and bus driver are also recovering from injuries.
A source tells People.com, "Miranda’s mom was on the bus with her and got really beaten up by the crash. She’s expected to fully recover, but it’s scary because the driver was hurt, too, and he’s in really bad shape.
"This was a life-threatening crash. A piece from the tractor-trailer went straight through the windshield and the driver’s arm was sliced all the way through." The driver is said to be in a critical condition in hospital.

A man has been jailed for eight months for looting LIAM GALLAGHER’s store in Manchester, England during the U.K. riots earlier this week (beg08Aug11).
The unrest, which started in London, spread north on Tuesday night (09Aug11) as thugs attacked Manchester’s city centre - looting shops and setting buildings ablaze.
Gallagher’s Pretty Green boutique was among the premises ransacked, and an estimated $435,200 (£272,000) worth of stock was stolen, according to Britain’s Daily Telegraph.
One of the looters convicted in the swift sentencing of rioters was Owen Flanagan, who pleaded guilty to two counts of burglary.
The 28 year old was handed an eight-month jail sentence after stealing $280 (£175) worth of items from Gallagher’s shop.

JEFF BRIDGES was relieved to lose out on five Academy Awards - because he prefers his "under-appreciated status".
The Big Lebowski star was nominated for four Oscars before he finally walked away with a statue for the musical drama Crazy Heart in 2009.
Bridges was nominated again the following year (10) for True Grit and missed out once more, but he’s adamant he would rather be on the loser’s list.
He tells CNN’s Piers Morgan, "It’s a relief. When they don’t call your name, you’re like, ‘I don’t have to get up now!’ It’s wonderful (to lose). I think I even said it, (winning) blows my under-appreciated status. That’s a great place to be. That’s the place you wanna be. Director MICHAEL WINNER is set to get married for the first time next month (Sep11) - at the age of 75.
The Death Wish moviemaker has been engaged to fiancee Geraldine Lynton-Edwards for four years, and has now finally set a date to walk down the aisle on 19 September (11).
He says, "I turn 76 in October and I have never been anywhere near marriage before. It took a long time for a bit of common sense to enter my befuddled brain.
"Geraldine is great fun and she has been with me through difficult times, and now she’s making a respectable man of me.
"I think she’s very pleased. After a while, when someone is that close to you and you love them, the question is: ‘If you love me, why aren’t we married?’" Acting legend Sir Michael Caine and his wife Shakira will act as witnesses at the registry office ceremony and will host a lunch in honour of their big day.
Other guests expected to attend include Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber and singer Chris Rea.

Actress FAYE DUNAWAY is heading to court in October (11) to fight her landlord’s attempts to evict her from a New York apartment.
The Oscar winner currently leases a one-bedroom, rent-stabilised apartment in Manhattan’s Upper East Side for just over $1,000 (£625) a month - almost half the going rate for the area.
Her landlord Henry Moses Jr. filed a lawsuit against the actress in a bid to have her evicted, claiming she’s not eligible for rent regulation as she spends most of her time in Los Angeles. State laws require tenants to use rent-controlled properties as their primary residence.
The star hit back by alleging the apartment was in a state of disrepair and offered up her keys to the landlord, insisting she had moved out in May (11).
Dunaway and her landlord’s attorneys met up on Thursday (11Aug11) before Judge John Stanley in New York City Civil Court, but the hearing was adjourned.
Dunaway has decided to fight against the eviction and will return to court on 04 October (11).
Her lawyer Elizabeth Shollenberger told reporters, "We didn’t come to a settlement today. She has not moved out. There’s water damage in the apartment that she said she’s been complaining about for years. For someone who is an older person, having water damage leads to all kinds of mould problems, respiratory problems."

Former WARRANT star JANI LANE has been found dead in a Los Angeles hotel room.
The troubled rocker’s body was discovered at the Comfort Inn hotel in Woodland Hills on Thursday night (11Aug11). He was 47.
No official cause of death has been released.
Lane fronted the Cherry Pie hitmakers between 1986 and 2004 and briefly reunited with the group in 2008. He released a solo record in 2002, Back Down to One, and went on to form supergroup Saints of the Underground.
Lane recently hit the headlines after he was sentenced to serve 120 days behind bars after pleading no contest to a 2010 DUI charge - his second in two years.
He was handed a career boost last year (10) when he replaced Jack Russell on rock band Great White’s 25th anniversary tour dates.

Actor JESSE METCALFE trained with top American officials and police chiefs to prepare for his role in action-packed TV series CHASE.
The John Tucker Must Die star plays a U.S. Marshal in the show, and reveals he flew to California to learn from agents at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to make sure his portrayal was authentic.
He tells British TV show This Morning, "There’s a lot of stunt sequences, combat, chase sequences. We did a lot of training, too, to prepare for the show. We studied with the FBI in Westwood, California, and we also trained with SWAT and U.S. Marhsals in Dallas, Texas.
"We shot a lot of guns! It’s a guy’s dream role. It’s a lot of fun, very physical."

Pop superstar JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE has given up-and-coming hip-hop group FREESOL a boost by directing their latest music video.
The SexyBack hitmaker stepped behind the camera to shoot the promo for Hoodies On, Hats Low.
In the video, Timberlake can be seen dancing alongside the band and even sings along to the chorus.
The singer/actor signed FreeSol to his Tennman Records in 2006 after watching them perform in his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee. He later helped them secure a deal with Interscope Records.

Disgraced designer JOHN GALLIANO has credited KATE MOSS with reviving his career by picking him to design her wedding dress, following his infamous breakdown in February (11).
The fashion icon was arrested over allegations he hurled racist abuse at a couple in Paris, France, and later lost his job as head designer at Christian Dior over the scandal.
Galliano subsequently checked into rehab to address substance abuse issues, and admits he lost confidence in his design abilities.
But he was delighted when supermodel Moss showed her support by asking him to design a gown for her to wear for her wedding to rocker Jamie Hince.
He tells America’s Vogue magazine, "She was very professional and very demanding. She dared me to be John Galliano again. I couldn’t pick up a pencil. It’s been my creative rehab." Moss adds, "When I put the dress on, I’m really happy. I forget about everything." Galliano was a guest at the couple’s July (11) wedding in Gloucestershire, England and he was moved to tears when Moss’ father Peter thanked him for "the beautiful dress" in his speech.
