Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 5:18 pm

MARTINA MCBRIDE has enlisted breast cancer survivor SHERYL CROW to star in her new music video to give hope to women battling the disease.
The country singer’s single I’m Gonna Love You Through It chronicles a woman’s fight with the condition, with lyrics including "She dropped the phone and burst into tears/ The doctor just confirmed her fears… She made it through the surgery fine/ They said they caught it just in time." Cancer survivors Crow and American TV presenters Robin Roberts and Hoda Kotb feature in the touching video for the song, and McBride is convinced their involvement will inspire her fans experiencing health battles.
She says, "I knew it was a song I wanted to record because of the strong message of hope that it sends. I believe I’m Gonna Love You Through It will offer hope and inspiration to so many people who are going through or have been through cancer and the people who love them through it.
"It takes a lot of strength and a lot of love to get through something like that. I think this song says what so many people want to express to their loved ones."

CRAIG GLAD COWBOYS BOSSES REFUSED 3D RELEASE

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 5:17 pm

DANIEL CRAIG has praised movie bosses for refusing to release COWBOYS & ALIENS in 3D - as he’s convinced traditional screening gives the film "a much richer feeling".
The British actor heads up the new sci-fi Western, which has already earned more than $92 million (£57.5 million) at the box office since its release last month (Jul11).
Despite the rise in 3D films hitting cinemas in recent years, director Jon Favreau decided against using the technique - and Craig is sure it’s benefited the blockbuster.
He tells BBC’s Newsbeat, "It was a very deliberate decision and I’m glad we didn’t (use 3D). We’d still be shooting it apart from anything else. Classic westerns are 2D… so you can stretch the image right across the screen and it looks like it should do.
"I think 3D works in animation and it gives me a headache to tell you the truth, I’m not a big fan of it. Maybe I’m a bit old-fashioned.
"When you watch a 3D live action movie you’re forced to look at parts of the screen which you might not necessarily want to look at, but you have to because that’s where the focus is. With 2D you get a much richer feeling and can look where you want basically. The whole thing with wearing the glasses is a bit silly."

HATHAWAY DEFENDS ONE DAY ACCENT

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 5:14 pm

ANNE HATHAWAY has hit back at criticism of her northern English accent in new romantic movie ONE DAY, insisting her voice is "designed to change" because her character regularly moves around the U.K.
The Devil Wears Prada star plays Yorkshire-born Emma in the film, an adaptation of David Nicholls’ 2009 novel, and some critics have been left unimpressed with Hathaway’s regional dialect.
But the actress insists her accent is accurate, as Emma spent her formative years moving from place to place.
Hathaway tells Britain’s Grazia magazine, "Emma is from Leeds but has been at university, and then goes to London, so the accent is designed to change the way it does when you leave home, particularly in the U.K.
"I met 10 people from Yorkshire and nine of them didn’t sound like they were from Yorkshire any more."

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 9:17 am

KATE WINSLET has joined forces with fellow British actresses EMMA THOMPSON and RACHEL WEISZ to rally against the cosmetic surgery trend in Hollywood.
The Titanic star is adamant she won’t ever go under the knife and has formed what she’s dubbed the ‘British Anti-Cosmetic Surgery League’ with fellow Oscar-winners Thompson and Weisz.

"I am an actress, I don’t want to freeze the expression of my face." And Thompson agrees, adding, "I’m not fiddling about with myself. We’re in this awful youth-driven thing now where everybody needs to look 30 at 60", while Weisz claims people "who look too perfect don’t look sexy or particularly beautiful." Meanwhile, Salma Hayek has also spoken out against cosmetic surgery, telling the latest issue of Allure magazine, "I believe that every woman is entitled to fight to preserve her youth. (But) it’s (cosmetic surgery) like the uniform of a generation. And it’s not necessarily beautiful. It’s not wrinkled-looking, but it’s not beautiful."
