HUSTON TO BE HONOURED WITH POSTAGE STAMP

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 5:18 pm

Late legendary movie director JOHN HUSTON is to be honoured with his own postage stamp in America.
The Oscar-winning filmmaker behind iconic movies The Treasure of the Sierra Madre, The Asphalt Jungle and 1952’s Moulin Rouge will be remembered by the U.S. Postal Service next year (12).
The stamp artwork will be inspired by Huston’s 1941 film The Maltese Falcon and will include star Humphrey Bogart clutching a statue of the falcon.
Four stamps will be launched in the Great Film Directors series - John Ford and Frank Capra have been named as the other filmmakers to be honoured, while the fourth director will be announced at a later date.
