FERGIE WANTS TO SET UP CANCER CHARITY
BLACK EYED PEAS star FERGIE dreams of founding her own charity to help cancer survivors.
The singer is a committed philanthropist, and was honoured her humanitarian work at a star-studded AIDS charity event in Paris, France in June (11).
Her parents have both battled different forms of cancer, and, after her father almost succumbed to the disease, Fergie is determined to set up a foundation of her own to help those affected by the illness.
She tells Cosmopolitan magazine, "I’d love to start up my own charity. Both my parents are survivors of cancer. My dad was seriously ill and is lucky to be alive today."
