KERI HILSON has apologised after sparking outrage by posting a picture online of her partying with an AMY WINEHOUSE lookalike just hours before the British star’s funeral on Tuesday (26Jul11).
The Rehab hitmaker was found dead at her north London home on Saturday (23Jul11), aged 27, and a string of stars, including Lady Gaga, Russell Brand and Adele, have all paid moving tributes ahead of Tuesday’s private funeral.
But Hilson attracted a slew of criticism just hours before the service by uploading a photo of her partying with a Winehouse lookalike and joking that the Brit has been "resurrected".
On her Twitter.com page, she posts a link to the image with the message: "*gasp* Amy Winehouse resurrected to party w/ (with) me!!! (seriously, uncanny resemblance)." Her comments and photo were met with an angry outcry from her followers and within an hour, Hilson took to the site again to apologise to fans offended by the post.
She writes, "Come on, I mean no harm. All due respect. But really the resemblance freaked me out. This was simply the best tribute ever. RIP AMY WINEHOUSE… I apologize 2 anyone who might’ve taken it the wrong way. As a fan, I thought it was cool that she dressed up to honor Amy. I had no ill intent, but I understand how it appears insensitive… my bad twitterville. For real."

SANDRA BULLOCK’s ex-husband JESSE JAMES has called off his engagement to TV tattooist KAT VON D.
The stars, who began dating two months after James divorced Bullock last year (10), became engaged in January (11) and were planning a summer wedding (11) on the one-year anniversary of their romance.
James and the LA Ink star have been dogged by rumours of a split since a report was published in Life & Style magazine last month (Jun11) - speculation they denied at the time.
But now they have confirmed they have parted ways, citing their long-distance love for the break-up - Von D lives in Los Angeles, while James is based in Austin, Texas.
James tells People.com, "I’m so sad because I really love her. The distance between us was just too much." Addressing the split in a post on Twitter.com, Von D writes, "I am no longer w (with) Jesse, and out of respect for him, his family and myself, thats (sic) all the info I’d like to share. Thanks for respecting that."

ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER has confirmed his injured son Christopher is "doing much better" after he was hospitalised following a surfing accident earlier this month (Jul11).
The 13 year old has been treated in a hospital intensive care unit (ICU) after suffering multiple broken bones and a collapsed lung during the incident in Malibu, California.
The Terminator star has now taken to his Twitter.com page to give an update on the teen’s progress and thank followers for their well wishes.
He writes, "Thanks for all your support for Christopher. It means a lot to me and to him. He’s doing much better, and we’ll have him back at full speed soon." Schwarzenegger’s elder son Patrick also tweeted a photo of himself wearing a T-shirt with Christopher’s face on it, with the caption: "My brother is doing a lot better. Wearing this shirt for him."

Reformed rock wildman ANTHONY KIEDIS broke down in tears during a flight - as he watched JUSTIN BIEBER’s movie NEVER SAY NEVER.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman was flying to Los Angeles and decided to tune in to the Baby hitmaker’s tear-jerking documentary on the in-flight entertainment system.
He became emotional as he watched scenes of fans desperate for tickets to Bieber’s gigs, and he wasn’t alone in finding the movie hard to bear - the band’s producer Rick Rubin was also sobbing.
Kiedis tells Q magazine, "I sat on an airplane recently, coming from Hawaii to Los Angeles, with Rick Rubin just across the aisle, watching the Justin Bieber movie, Never Say Never. I cried twice during that film and I want the world to know that! "They were doing this very cheesy giveaway of concert tickets to 16-year-old girls. The cheesiness didn’t matter - it was the reaction of the kids. When you saw those little girls crying deliriously, I lost it. I decided to tell Rick afterwards and he said, ‘I was also sobbing during that point in the movie.’ There you have it."

British rocker NOEL GALLAGHER planned to launch his solo career with three new albums - but he abandoned the idea after becoming "sick" of writing new tracks.
The former Oasis guitarist hit a creative peak as he penned new songs following the band’s breakup in 2009, and announced earlier this month (Jul11) he is to release two albums - a solo record and a collaboration with British psychedelic duo Amorphous Androgynous.
Now he’s revealed he had enough new material to put out a third record, titled The Future Of Martial Arts, but gave up the plan because he was tired of songwriting.
Gallagher tells Q magazine, "Now I’m a free agent I thought I’ve got all these songs, so I’ll make two records - but between you and me I made three, the third was going to be called The Future Of Martial Arts. I had nine great songs but had to split them up. I wanted to do some work with Amorphous Androgynous… so I made the albums concurrently. It was really exciting being that creative, but by the end I was sick of it."

R&B singer LAURYN HILL has been hit with a lawsuit after allegedly failing to pay a former guitarist.
Professional musician Jay Gore claims the former Fugees star owes him money for a series of gigs they performed together in 2007.
In his lawsuit, filed at a small claims court in Los Angeles and obtained by TMZ.com, Gore is demanding $3,590 (£2,200) he was reportedly promised for the shows.

Troubled rocker MICHAEL TODD has walked free after posting $25,000 (£15,600) bail.
The Coheed And Cambria bassist was released from the Dartmouth House of Corrections in Massachusetts on Monday (25Jul11), according to the Boston Herald. It is unknown who posted bail for Todd.
The star was taken into custody after allegedly holding up a pharmacy and demanding prescription painkillers prior to a gig supporting Soundgarden earlier this month (Jul11).
The 30 year old was said to have made off with six bottles of Oxycontin before cops tracked him down in a taxi on his way to the concert.
He was later charged with robbery and unlawful possession of prescription drugs.
Todd, who temporarily left Coheed and Cambria in 2006 to enter rehab for drug addiction, is due back in court to answer charges on 9 August (11).

OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN’s daughter has come under attack from activists at an Australian parents group for graphically depicting self-harm in her new music video.
Chloe Lattanzi has caused controversy with an online promo for Play With Me, in which the 25 year old sits in a bath full of electrical appliances with scalds on her arms.
Lattanzi is also seen holding a gun to her head, snorting lines of white powder and dragging a knife across her arms in other scenes.
The video, which features a warning that it is "intended for entertainment purposes only", has sparked fury among officials at the Australian Council for Children and the Media, who have accused the wannabe pop star of glorifying "harmful behaviours".
President Elizabeth Handsley tells the Sydney Morning Herald, "I think it’s sad that this young woman has such a need for attention that she needs to push the envelope of good taste and appropriateness this far…
"This simply glamorises a range of harmful behaviours and does nothing to help empower young people to cope (with) relationship problems." But Lattanzi has defended the music video, insisting it is her duty as an entertainer to "challenge ideas".
In a message posted on YouTube.com, she says, "It’s purely just for artistic value. I don’t want to kill myself, I don’t want to die, I don’t want to kill anybody, I don’t want anyone to die, it’s all just in the name of fun. Some people are taking it a little bit too seriously and getting all preachy and all this bulls**t. But it is an artist’s job to challenge ideas. I have a lot of gratitude, though, for your attention to me. Bring on the negativity because I am a good person."

Rocker GENE SIMMONS has proposed to his girlfriend of 28 years, SHANNON TWEED.
The KISS frontman and the model are parents to 22-year-old son Nicholas and 18-year-old daughter Sophie, and have lived together since 1985.
They are currently starring in reality TV show Gene Simmons Family Jewels, on which their strained relationship has come under the spotlight - last month (Jun11) the couple fell out during the filming of the show after Simmons poked fun at his infamous womanising ways.
But now the star has pledged his love to the former Playboy model, getting on his knees to propose on the season finale of the programme.

The rocker then drops to his knees, when Tweed bursts into tears and holds her hands over her mouth as he asks her, "Please marry me." JAMES FRANCO will reprise his murderous role in GENERAL HOSPITAL for a "longterm" storyline set to air later this year (11).
The Academy Award nominee shocked industry insiders when he first appeared on the longrunning soap back in 2009 as a serial killer, aptly named Robert ‘Franco’ Frank.
His return comes when his character’s gay crush Jason Morgan is set to wed Sam McCall, and bosses have promised viewers they will witness Franco’s madcap character’s "most twisted plan yet".
The already busy Franco, who mixes his acting with art projects and several university courses, will have an even bigger juggling act on his hands - he will be expected to film General Hospital episodes in Hollywood while jetting to New York to star in a Broadway revival of Tennessee Williams’ Sweet Bird of Youth opposite Nicole Kidman.

Broadway director MARSHALL W. MASON and his partner have become one of the first gay couples to marry in New York.
The former Tony Award nominee tied the knot with fellow director Daniel Irvine in the Big Apple on Monday (25Jul11), one day after same-sex unions were officially recognised.
And Mason admits he was thrilled to finally walk down the aisle with Irvine, his partner of more than 37 years, in New York.
He tells the New York Post, "We have been waiting for a long time. I felt very strongly that I did not want to go somewhere else to get married under someone else’s law." The state made history last month (Jun11) after becoming only the sixth in the U.S. to legalise gay unions.

Monaco’s new royal couple is suing a French magazine over allegations its editors spread false rumours about their relationship ahead of their wedding earlier this month (Jul11).
Prince Albert and his new wife, Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco, have filed a summons against L’Express magazine at a court in Paris, citing invasion of privacy and publishing of "incorrect facts about their private life".
In the build-up to their nuptials earlier this month (Jul11), reports suggested the bride had tried to flee Monaco three times, only to be stopped by the prince’s aides.
Following their two lavish marriage ceremonies, the South African beauty spoke out in a bid to stop the gossip, insisting she is "in love" with Prince Albert and accused critics of trying to "sabotage" their union.
Prince Albert also called a press conference last week (21Jul11) to clear up another round of rift rumours, prompted after the couple spent a night in separate hotels during their honeymoon.

Troubled actress BAI LING openly sobbed on U.S. TV as she recalled terrible memories of sexual molestation when she was a teenager.
The Crow star wept during a group therapy session on Celebrity Rehab as she told how she was date raped by a boyfriend she "didn’t like" but who took advantage of her after plying her with alcohol.
She sobbed, "I was just passed out on the pavement and he took me right to his loft and slept with me. I was drunk." In a personal session with celebrity counsellor Dr. Drew Pinsky, she later revealed she was molested by generals when she served in the Chinese People’s Liberation Army as a teen.
The actress admitted she was just 14 when she was ordered to visit high-ranking officials who would "put me on their lap" and abuse her.
She explained, "I have different experiences with different generals… At that time I didn’t know what was right or wrong or appropriate. I was vulnerable." The episode, which aired in the U.S. on Sunday (24Jul11), also saw Bai express regret for her wild antics in Hollywood.
She continued, "I’m this beautiful talented actress but I f***ed myself up being in these clubs, with my nipples out and the tabloids think I’m a bimbo. I’m not a bimbo… What’s wrong with me?"

Actor GLENN HOWERTON is to become a first-time father - his wife is pregnant.
The Horrible Bosses star and his partner, Jill Latiano, will welcome the child later this year (11).
Howerton announced the news on Twitter.com by posting a picture of the pair at the Cowboys & Aliens premiere in Los Angeles, alongside the words, "Check out my beautiful preggers (pregnant) wife, y’all." AMY WINEHOUSE’s devastated boyfriend REG TRAVISS has opened up about her final days, revealing the singer seemed "upbeat" and "full of life".
The 35-year-old filmmaker, who dated the tragic star on-and-off for two years, accompanied her distraught parents Mitch and Janis and brother Alex to greet mourners and fans keeping a vigil outside her London home following the news of her death on Saturday (23Jul11).
Traviss has paid tribute to his lost love, insisting the star was enjoying exercise in the days leading up to her death and was looking forward to attending a friend’s wedding on Sunday (24Jul11) - the day after she died.
He tells Britain’s The Sun, "Amy kept trying to decide what to wear. She had laid out her dresses to make up her mind. She was really looking forward to it. She has been full of life and so upbeat recently, exercising every day and doing yoga. This terrible thing that happened is like an accident.
"The last three days have been hell. We have suffered a terrible untimely loss and want peace now.
"I can’t describe what I am going through and I want to thank so much all of the people who have paid their respects and who are mourning the loss of Amy, such a beautiful, brilliant person and my dear love. I have lost my darling who I loved very much." An initial post mortem examination on Monday (25Jul11) failed to determine Winehouse’s cause of death. The singer will be buried at a private funeral on Tuesday (26Jul11).

ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER has amended papers in his divorce from estranged wife MARIA SHRIVER after originally asking a judge to dismiss her request for spousal support.
Shriver filed to end the marriage on 1 July (11), almost two months after Schwarzenegger confessed to fathering a lovechild with a maid at the family home over a decade ago, and requested the actor pay spousal support, as well as her attorney fees.
The Terminator star officially objected to both claims last week (20Jul11), but on Monday (25Jul11), he filed new papers, no longer challenging either of Shriver’s requests, according to People.com.
The change of heart comes just days after the couple’s teenage son Christopher was left in an intensive care unit after being left seriously injured in a surfing accident in Malibu, California.
Schwarzenegger and Shriver have both requested joint custody of their minor children, Patrick, 17, and Christopher, 13.

SHERYL CROW is selling off her beloved vintage car to raise funds for victims of the tornado-hit city of Joplin, Missouri.
The singer has donated her 1959 Mercedes-Benz 190 SL Roadster to auction house Gooding & Co., with proceeds from the sale going to help rebuild the devastated city’s schools.
Crow says, "After the tornado in Joplin I was moved to help rebuild a city so close to where I grew up in Missouri. My hope is that the auction of my 1959 Mercedes-Benz 190 SL Roadster will bring in funds to help rebuild the schools in the area." The car, which the musician bought in 2005, is estimated to bring in from $50,000 (£31,200) to $100,000 (£62,500) when it goes under the hammer next month (Aug11).
Joplin was left ravaged in May (11) after a massive twister ripped through the city and claimed the lives of more than 120 people.

DAVID ARQUETTE has reportedly moved on from his estranged wife COURTENEY COX after he was seen enjoying a night out with GIRLS GONE WILD founder JOE FRANCIS’ ex-wife.
Arquette and Cox split last summer (10) but insisted they were simply on a trial separation while they tried to work out their marriage issues.
