Rocker NIKKI SIXX, singer/actress MANDY MOORE and socialite KIM KARDASHIAN have all expressed their shock and outrage after Florida mother CASEY ANTHONY was cleared of murdering her young daughter CAYLEE in an Orlando courtroom on Tuesday (05Jul11).
The jury delivered its verdict after 10 hours of deliberations in one of the most explosive court trials in two decades.
Anthony, 25, was found not guilty of first degree murder, aggravated child abuse and aggravated manslaughter of a child, but the jury members did find her guilty on four counts of providing false information to a law enforcement officer.
She was accused of drugging her daughter and suffocating the two year old with duct tape in 2008, while the defence claimed Caylee accidentally drowned.
Upon hearing the verdict, a host of celebrities took to their Twitter.com blogs to comment on the ruling.
Motley Crue star Sixx was open about his disgust and, in a post on his Twitter page, he writes, "I am ashamed and shocked that our legal system failed us and found Casey Anthony not guilty for killing her daughter or any other (felony) charges." Moore writes, "Woah! Shocked about the verdict in the casey anthony trial! Thought she was guilty for sure! Either way, tragic story…. i’m from orlando and have been hooked on the trial the last few weeks. the defense team was abysmal! this is shocking! poor, poor caylee." Reality TV star Kardashian exclaims, "WHAT!!!!???!!!! CASEY ANTHONY FOUND NOT GUILTY!!!! I am speechless!!!" and Blink-182 rocker Mark Hoppus simply writes, "No. F**king. Way." Meanwhile, the ladies of The Talk reacted to the news as it broke on the live U.S chat show, with co-hosts Julie Chen, Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peete fighting back tears as they learned of the not guilty decisions.
Co-host Sharon Osbourne, who is on sick leave from the show, tweeted, "Casey Anthony not guilty??…..it’s a disgrace. She’ll probably get her own reality show now."

Animal rights protesters are to picket the premiere of KEVIN JAMES’ new comedy ZOOKEEPER in a bid to persuade film fans to boycott the movie over creatures cruelty concerns.
PETA members will gather outside Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles on Wednesday (06Jul11) for a face-off with stars James, Adam Sandler and Rosario Dawson and Zookeeper director Frank Coraci.
The protest follows the death of a giraffe named Tweet, who suddenly collapsed and died last year (Sep10) during the production of the movie - according to PETA bosses.
The activists also claim elephants featured in the film were provided by a company exposed for its cruel training techniques in a recent Animal Defenders International film.
PETA director Delcianna Winders says, "Wild animals exploited by filmmakers are scared, confused, and out of their element, but time is money, so if they don’t perform on cue, they can expect to be beaten or given an electric shock.
"The makers of Zookeeper hired confirmed animal abusers, so moviegoers should steer clear of this film and all others that use exotic animals and should support only willing human performers.
"The American Humane Association’s certification stating that ‘No animals were harmed in the making of this film’ applies only to what transpires on the set, not to what happens during off-set training sessions, where abuse is most likely to occur." Tweet, the giraffe star of Ace Ventura: Pet Detective and James’ new movie, died in its enclosure at Franklin Park Zoo in Boston, Massachusetts after completing its scenes in the film.
PETA activists allege the 18-year-old animal was mistreated and has asked for an investigation. The American Humane Society, which oversees creature treatment on movie sets, denies mistreatment.

Florida mum CASEY ANTHONY has been found not guilty of killing her two-year-old daughter CAYLEE in the most explosive court trial in two decades.
After 10 hours of deliberation, the jury in the trial reached its verdict in the case on Tuesday afternoon (05Jul11).
Anthony was found not guilty of first degree murder, aggravated child abuse and aggravated manslaughter of a child, but the jury members did find her guilty on four counts of providing false information to a law enforcement officer.
TV viewers in America have been riveted by the 35 days of testimony and closing arguments in Orlando.
Prosecutors argued Anthony drugged her daughter and suffocated the tot with duct tape in 2008. The defence claimed Caylee accidentally drowned.
Anthony, 25, was facing the death penalty. She now faces a maximum of four years behind bars for providing false information. She will be sentenced on Thursday (07Jul11).
At the heart of the case was Casey Anthony’s lie about a babysitter, named Zenaida, abducting her daughter.
Lawyers for the defence had admitted that the single mother had created a web of lies after Caylee had accidentally drowned in the family pool.
Caylee’s body was found in a swamp six months after she reportedly disappeared. Her remains were so badly deteriorated that the medical examiner could not determine exactly how she died.

MICHAEL DOUGLAS and CATHERINE ZETA-JONES have jetted to Europe for a month-long sunshine break to put the stress of the last few months behind them.
The Wall Street star was given the all-clear in his cancer battle in January (11), but the actor suffered another setback when his Welsh wife was admitted to rehab to deal with mental health issues.
Zeta-Jones went public with her bipolar disorder diagnosis in April (11) and underwent treatment for a severe bout of depression, but subsequently got back to work filming new comedy Playing The Field in Louisiana with Gerard Butler.
The couple has now jetted off to Europe for a four-week break in the Mediterranean with their two children, Dylan, 11 and Carys, eight.
The family has rented a luxury yacht for a cruise along the Mediterranean coastline, according to New York Post gossip column Page Six.
They visited Athens, Greece last week (ends03Jul11) and Zeta-Jones was spotted shopping in the Turkish town of Bodrum on Sunday (03Jul11) with her kids.

SIR PAUL McCARTNEY considered hanging up his bass and retiring from music when he reached the age of 50.
In the early 1990s, the Beatles legend agreed with a manager who told him it was time to walk away from rock ‘n’ roll because he was getting too old.
But the rocker changed his mind after realising he still loved playing music - and he fired the aide instead.
McCartney tells Mojo magazine, "One of my old guys who I used to have as my manager, I was knocking 50 and he said, ‘I think it’s time you retired.’ I thought, ‘I know what you mean, s**t, but I don’t feel like it, you know. And if I’m really enjoying this, why retire?’ "So I decided against it, and got rid of him. I wonder what he thinks today. Perhaps that he was right, but hopefully not."

The socialite’s Independence Day weekend (02-03Jul11) was marred on Monday when cops arrested James Rainford outside her Malibu mansion on suspicion of breaching a restraining order which bans him from going within 200 yards (183 metres) of Hilton.
The blonde beauty watched the drama unfold from the balcony of her home and even appeared to be taking pictures on her cell phone as the shirtless man was bundled into the back of a squad car by cops.
Hilton was later able to relax and enjoy the rest of the day’s festivities, and when she took to her Twitter.com page on Monday night, she glossed over the afternoon’s troubles, writing, "What a beautiful fireworks show and evening. In bed watching funny movies. Loves it…"

A spokesman for VICTORIA and DAVID BECKHAM has dismissed reports the couple became parents for a fourth time on Monday (04Jul11) following a slew of rumours suggesting the singer gave birth to a baby girl called Felicity at a Los Angeles hospital.
The former Spice Girls star is pregnant with the couple’s fourth child and she was rumoured to have scheduled a Caesarean section on America’s Independence Day (04Jul11), the date which also marks the Brits’ 12th wedding anniversary.
Stories of a birth spread across Twitter on Monday, with the rumours even suggesting the baby’s weight and name, but a representative for the couple is adamant the 37-year-old fashion designer will not welcome the child until later this month (Jul11).
The spokesman tells Britain’s Daily Mail, "The rumours are rubbish, Victoria has not had the baby but she will be giving birth soon." David’s publicist, Simon Oliveira, also addressed the rumours on Monday, writing in a post on Twitter, "Contrary to certain reports, David and Victoria Beckham’s baby is not due today and that was never the case." The couple is already parents to three young sons, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz.

British singer ROBBIE WILLIAMS was given a scare last week (end03Jul11) when his beloved pet dog was bitten by a rattlesnake.
The Take That star and his wife Ayda Field have eight pet pooches at their house in Los Angeles and Williams, who is currently touring the U.K. with the band, was devastated when he learned his Jack Russell had suffered a nasty injury.

A British music festival headlined by rockers FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND has been cancelled due to low ticket sales.
The Welsh band was due to perform at the Devonrox Festival in Devon, England next month (Aug11) alongside acts including Heaven’s Basement, Jettblack and Deborah Bonham, sister of late Led Zeppelin star John Bonham.
The event, due to take place on 6-7 August (11) at Powderham Castle, has now been axed. A statement from organisers reads, "Sadly following an in depth review of ticket sales to date, the investors behind the festival have decided it is no longer financially viable to continue."

Rock matriarch SHARON OSBOURNE is taking a week off work after falling sick with a mystery illness.
Ozzy Osbourne’s wife began experiencing with flu-like symptoms on Friday (01Jul11) and suffered throughout America’s Independence Day weekend (02-03Jul11). Osbourne was no better on Monday (04Jul11) so she has made an appointment to see her doctor and taken a week off from hosting duties on U.S. chat show The Talk to recover.

Hip-hop mogul JAY-Z is to open a restaurant in London to provide work for jobless youngsters.
The rapper is teaming up with England soccer ace Ashley Cole to launch the venture, which will employ school-leavers from underprivileged backgrounds.
The pair has also pledged to donate a portion of the eaterie’s profits to charity.

SEAN KINGSTON celebrated his recovery from a near-fatal jet ski crash by throwing a party at his home in Miami, Florida to mark America’s Independence Day (04Jul11).
The singer was left in a critical condition after the accident in May (11) and spent nearly a month in hospital recovering from his injuries.
Kingston was discharged late last month (Jun11) and he put the pain of the last few weeks behind him on Monday (04Jul11) to host a barbecue for friends and family at his mansion in Miami.

Beauty queen MISS BRAZIL has been robbed at gunpoint outside her home in Sao Paulo.
Debora Lyra, who was crowned the country’s top beauty queen last year (10), was targeted by an armed man as she approached her gated property in the city on Sunday (03Jul11).
The perpetrator took her purse, cell phone and credit cards, as well as her car, which she was given as a prize for winning the beauty pageant, according to the Associated Press. She was left shaken but unhurt following the incident.
Lyra will pass on her title to the next Miss Brazil following the 2011 competition on 23 July (11).

Former child star EZRA MILLER has been cleared of a drug charge following his arrest for possession of marijuana last month (Jun11).
The Californication actor, who is currently filming The Perks of Being a Wallflower alongside Emma Watson, was stopped by traffic cops in New Jersey and was allegedly holding "brown, vegetable material".
He was booked for drug possession but the charge has been dropped by a judge, according to TMZ.com.
Miller was instead hit with two citations for disorderly conduct, which carries a penalty of $600 (£375).

The judge who indicted convicted killer AMANDA KNOX has stepped down from his role overseeing her legal battle over the HAYDEN PANETTIERE TV movie based on her story.
Panettiere plays the title role in Amanda Knox: Murder on Trial in Italy, which focuses on the American student who was convicted of the 2007 murder of her British roommate, Meredith Kercher.
The movie aired on U.S. network Lifetime in February (11), despite protests from Knox’s lawyers, who are continuing their fight to have the show banned from the airwaves in Italy, where Knox is currently appealing against her 26-year murder sentence.
On Monday (04Jul11), Knox appeared at Perugia’s civil court in Italy for the second hearing in the case, in which her attorneys are also demanding millions of dollars in damages and for clips from the movie to be removed from the internet.
Monday’s hearing was immediately adjourned as judge Paolo Micheli, who originally indicted Knox back in 2008, stepped down after defence lawyers cited his previous involvement in her murder trial as a conflict.
The case will go back to court before a different judge on 24 January (12).

TONY BENNETT is "worried" about troubled star AMY WINEHOUSE and he is "praying" for the British singer to clean up her act.
The veteran crooner teamed up with the Rehab hitmaker to record a song for his upcoming Duets II album, which also features collaborations with Mariah Carey and Lady Gaga.
Bennett has now expressed concern for the young star, who cancelled her entire European tour following a shambolic set last month (Jun11) in Belgrade, Serbia, where she appeared to be intoxicated onstage.
Bennett is hoping Winehouse, who has endured numerous stints in rehab, is now able to conquer her demons once and for all.
