TYLER TIED UP AND GAGGED FOR NEW MOVIE

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 2:55 am

Actress LIV TYLER spent a day tied to a chair with a ball gag in her mouth filming her new movie - and liked it.
The Armageddon star insisted on being there for co-star Patrick Wilson, who plays her religious fanatic husband in The Ledge, and enjoyed the experience of just watching the film getting made around her.
She tells WENN, "There was quite a hard day because this whole production was a very small budget and we didn’t have many days. The subject matter was quite intense and dense and quite tricky to navigate. That day was hard because we only had a couple of hours to shoot that scene in a hotel room on location.
"They didn’t get to my close-up until they found out we were getting kicked out of the hotel and had to pull the plug, so I had about, probably, two minutes for it, so I was really crying with rage and anger because I wanted to kill (director) Matthew Chapman.
"I’d been there all day in this chair with this gag in my mouth and really tied to the chair for Patrick. That said, I kind of liked it. Is that weird? Not in a sexual way! "Obviously when you’re acting the more real something can be and the more in the moment you can be, the better."

DIAZ URGES YOUNG STARS TO WORK HARDER

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 2:55 am

CAMERON DIAZ has offered youngsters with their sights set on movie stardom some stern advice - "You have to work for it!" The actress admits she’s tired of young stars who think Hollywood’s doors should always be open to them and she fears that kids today expect life and fame to come easy.
But she insists she had to battle to become one of the movie business’ top stars - and newcomers should too.
The Mask star tells WENN, "It drives me so crazy when people don’t have a good work ethic. If you’re gonna be here, work your a** off. I’m telling the youth of today.
"There’s a handful that do have a work ethic and they stand out and they’re the ones that are gonna go far because the majority of kids just think that everything should just be handed to them; that they’re entitled to it." And she urges parents not to make it easy for their kids: "It’s the generation of the credit card. My parents didn’t have credit cards. You didn’t get to have something you couldn’t pay for when I was a kid. When I wanted something I had to have the money to buy it. I think the mentality that we don’t have to have the money to have things, means you don’t have to work to have them. I see that a lot with the youth.
"From 33 years old and below, kids have no concept of what it is to work hard and, in the business we’re in, making movies, you get nowhere if you’re not willing to work your a** off because we work major hours. You need to work really hard to make a movie."

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 2:52 am

Former FALL OUT BOY star PATRICK STUMP is struggling to fund his current solo tour, revealing he may have to ask his record company for a little financial help.

Stump says, "I haven’t made a dollar on these shows. I’ve lost a lot of money. Ultimately, it’s like opening a small business. It’s a good show, and hopefully, in the long run, it will even itself out." But until that happens he may have to call on a little record label assistance.
He tells Spin magazine, "I wouldn’t be asking for too much. It might help get over that hump.
"(In the meantime), I can sleep on the floor (at friends’ homes). I’m comfortable doing that."

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 2:49 am

MOUNTAIN guitarist LESLIE WEST has spoken out about losing his leg just days after the limb was amputated to save his life.
The rocker underwent emergency surgery in Biloxi, Mississippi last weekend (19Jun11) after diabetes complications caused it to swell up while he was preparing for a show at the city’s Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
West called in to pal Howard Stern’s satellite radio show from his hospital bed on Wednesday (22Jun11) to reveal he was on a plane when his leg swelled up and his foot "turned blue".
He was unconscious when the decision was made to amputate - his wife had to make it for him.
West told Stern, "She had to make that decision whether to cut below the knee or above the knee… It was my leg or my life… I wouldn’t have been able to make that decision, man." But the rocker, who faces months of intensive rehabilitation, remains upbeat about his lost leg: "I finished my new CD with Slash and Zakk Wylde… and Billy Gibbons (of ZZ Top), so that’s done, thank God. I’ve just gotta figure out how to play the guitar with one foot.
