Actress/model ESTELLA WARREN is facing time behind bars after she was slapped with four misdemeanour charges following her DUI arrest last month (May11).
The Planet of the Apes star was detained in Los Angeles late on 23 May (11) after reportedly slamming her Toyota Prius into three parked cars and allegedly driving away. She was held on suspicion of DUI, but allegedly resisted arrest and tried to kick one of the officers.
Warren was escorted to a local police station to be booked for the accusations, but managed to slip out of her handcuffs and run out of the building during proceedings.
Charges for DUI, hit-and-run driving, battery on a cop and resisting arrest were officially filed against Warren on Thursday (09Jun11). She faces up to two-and-a-half years in jail if convicted on all counts, reports TMZ.com.
Reports initially suggested she would face an extra charge for felony escape - but that count was not included because she ran from the police station before she was technically booked for any crime.
Warren is due in court to face the charges next week (begs13Jun11).

Singer SHERYL CROW accidentally flashed her underwear during a performance at the CMT Music Awards on Wednesday (08Jun11).
The hitmaker took to the stage in Nashville, Tennessee in a short white skirt to perform a tune with host Kid Rock, and when she stood, Crow briefly gave the crowd - and TV viewers - a quick peak of her undergarments.
However the Grammy Award-winning star took the mishap in her stride and later laughed off the wardrobe malfunction, saying, "People all over America are tweeting that I was wearing a really short skirt when I sang with Kid Rock and that when I got up off the stool, I showed my underwear… (At least) I was wearing underwear, ‘cos I am good, clean family entertainment."

Actor JON CRYER had just minutes to determine whether he and new TWO AND A HALF MEN co-star ASHTON KUTCHER had comedy chemistry, because TV bosses "threw everything together" within a matter of days.
Kutcher was announced as fired Charlie Sheen’s replacement on the hit sitcom on 13 May (11) and the Just Married actor made his public debut as a castmember at a TV industry event less than a week later, hitting the stage at the CBS Upfronts alongside Cryer and teenage co-star Angus T. Jones.
Cryer admits they had little time to bond as programme bosses rushed to fill Sheen’s spot and stick to their tight production schedule in order to get the show back on air by the end of the year (11).
He tells U.S. TV host David Letterman, "We had a very quick meeting to see if we could deal with each other and we could. They threw everything together very quickly, so they had to fly us to New York to put us in front of advertisers for the Upfronts, so we got the CBS corporate jet." Cryer became a little worried things wouldn’t work out quite as well as he’d hoped after Kutcher made a playful comment onboard the flight.
Cryer jokes, "What gave me pause was, Ashton came on the plane (and) he said, ‘Ah, you know what I love about private jets? You can bring knives onboard!’ Yeah… that’s what I love about private jets!" Production on the new Two and a Half Men series begins in August (11).

PAUL MCCARTNEY jumped at the chance to perform at Yankees Stadium in New York when an upcoming summer (11) tour was in the planning stages - because he’ll become one of the few stars to play both Big Apple baseball meccas.
The British rocker played the New York Mets’ Shea Stadium with the Beatles in 1965 and now he’s headlining at the home of the New York Yankees on 15 July (11).
He says, "I love New York… I’ve got family there… It’s a cool place."

Beckham and his wife Victoria are expecting their fourth child, a daughter, this summer (11) and the sportsman recently revealed young Romeo was desperate for them to name the unborn tot after his pop idol.
The athlete said, "When we (first) got told it was a boy, my middle son Romeo said, ‘How about Justin Bieber as a name? Justin Bieber Beckham?’ So now we know it’s a girl, he said, ‘Well, how about Justine Bieber Beckham?’" The Beckhams have even acquired a life-sized cardboard cut-out of Bieber for their Los Angeles home, but now their boys have something extra special to treasure after the teenage superstar gifted Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz each with a personalised acoustic guitar.

Rapper NICKI MINAJ is eager to transfer her music success to a career in Hollywood and has named WILL SMITH and director TIM BURTON as her dream collaborators.
The Moment 4 Life hitmaker admits she always intended to forge a name for herself as an actress, but "fell" into the hip-hop industry by chance - and suddenly found herself tipped as the next biggest thing in rap.
But Minaj is keen to return to her acting roots.
She tells Entertainment Weekly, "I went to school to be an actress. I never expected to be a rapper. It just fell in my lap. So I would like to get an acting gig. I hope that when I am done with the tour I can go back and do some acting. That is my long-term goal." And she’s got big plans for Hollywood: "I want to work with Will Smith, because he’s a very successful rapper-turned-actor and therefore a role model. And Tim Burton because I love his crazy imagination. He comes up with these characters that are just so fascinating."

Hip-hop duo CAPONE-N-NOREAGA has parted ways to allow the rappers to focus on their solo careers.
The group originally disbanded in 2004 after nine years together, but reunited in 2006 and went on to release two more albums, Channel 10 and The War Report 2: Report the War.
But Noreaga has taken to his Twitter.com blog to break the latest news to fans - although he insists the pair will always remain friends.
In a series of posts on Thursday (09Jun11), he writes, "I’m not making another war report album… CNN was a great group… Time has changed I must move on… Doesn’t it hurt to watch a boxer still box when he’s (sic) heart isn’t in it that’s what the group feels like right now.

Clumsy actor JOSH DUHAMEL was teased mercilessly by his co-stars on the set of the new TRANSFORMERS movie after spraining both his ankles in one day.
The star earned the embarrassing nickname of ‘H.R. Stumblesnstuf’ because of his on-set accidents during the filming of Transformers: Dark of the Moon, the third installment of the robot franchise.
Duhamel’s list of injuries included two busted ankles, which he hurt during his lunch break, and the army professionals he was working with didn’t let him live it down.
He tells E! News, "I actually got a little bit hurt this time (in this movie), not because it was dangerous, but because I’m a klutz. I sprained one of my ankles before lunch and then after lunch I sprained the other. I’m not kidding you. I sprained not one, but two ankles in the same day. My nickname amongst all the actual Navy SEALs on my team became H.R. Stumblesnstuf."

Busy actress JADA PINKETT SMITH has developed unique ways to catch up on her rest - and once even fell asleep while standing against a wall at a nightclub.
The Matrix Reloaded star admits juggling her career with her role as a mum often leaves her exhausted - and she has to come up with clever ways to catch up on her sleep.
She says, "The craziest place I ever fell asleep was probably at the club. I was standing up against the wall, exhausted. Speaker right here (next to her ear), music going. And I was just knocked out.
"I don’t usually get to sleep too much at night. I get maybe, like, four or five hours a night. I usually take little cat naps throughout the day. I catch 10 minutes here and there. And it works for me."

Actress ISABEL LUCAS is fighting to preserve Australia’s Coral Sea by having it declared a protected marine park.
The Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen star, who was born in Melbourne, is backing a campaign urging government officials to regulate the amount of fishing and seabed mining in the Coral Sea, which lies just off Australia’s north-east coast.
Lucas is also calling for the sea to be made an official marine park in a bid to save its endangered inhabitants.
In a blog for the Huffington Post, she writes, "When I learned that only one per cent of Australia’s Coral Sea was protected, I was stunned.
"I’ve become passionately involved with the Protect Our Coral Sea initiative, which aims to create the largest marine park in the world. It would protect a huge diversity of habitats from tropical coral reefs, to species living in the open ocean, to a huge pool of biodiversity living in the depths of the ocean that we don’t even know about yet.
"It would serve as a place for inspiration, enjoyment and where the ocean’s species - whales, dolphins, sea turtles, rays - will all have a safe haven forever." To accompany her article, Lucas shot a music video with her musician boyfriend Angus Stone to inspire fans to join the eco-friendly cause.

Embattled MEL GIBSON has completed his community service sentence stemming from a domestic violence charge.
The Braveheart star struck a plea deal with Los Angeles prosecutors in March (11) in a bid to stay out of jail after he was accused of attacking ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva during a heated argument last year (10).
Under the terms of the agreement, Gibson pleaded no contest to simple misdemeanour battery and was sentenced to three years probation, ordered to undergo 52 weeks of counselling, pay almost $600 (£400) in fines and serve 16 hours of community service.
The actor fulfilled his community service sentence on Wednesday (08Jun11) after flying to Guatemala to work with a local team from Mending Kids International, the organisation which, until recently, boasted his ex-wife Robyn as President of the Board of Directors.
Gibson’s lawyer presented proof of the star’s completed tasks to Los Angeles court Judge Stephanie Sautner on Thursday (09Jun11), and stated his client had also settled his fines.
According to TMZ.com, Gibson’s psychiatrist gave a glowing review of the star’s behaviour in his documents, claiming he’s making good progress in his weekly sessions.

Drafts of BOB DYLAN’s original lyrics are expected to fetch thousands of dollars when they hit the auction block later this month (Jun11).
The newly-discovered papers, which are heavily edited and even feature notes in crayon, date from the mid-1960s, when Dylan hit a productive peak.
Some of the documents are handwritten and others typed, and they include the lyrics to some of the folk star’s most famous tracks, such as Subterranean Homesick Blues, Queen Jane Approximately and Visions of Johanna.
The original draft of Maggie’s Farm is estimated to sell for $70,000 (£44,000) to $90,000 (£56,000).
Chris Coover of Christie’s auction house says, "The mid-60s, especially 1964-1966, were a true watershed for Dylan. In that period his lyrics became deeper and more personal, while his songs moved away from the acoustic, folk-inflected style, and he forged a unique personal style as poet and songwriter." Collectors will have a chance to bid on the pages at Christie’s auction of fine printed books and manuscripts in New York on 23 June (11), reports Reuters.
Dylan’s handwritten lyrics to his 1964 anthem The Times They Are a-Changin’ pulled in a staggering $422,000 (£264,000) at Sotheby’s in December (10).

PRINCE WILLIAM and his bride CATHERINE, DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE raised more than $1.6 million (£1 million) for charity with their royal wedding donation scheme.
The pair married in London in front of a global audience of two billion in April (11), and asked fans to make donations to a wedding fund in lieu of gifts.
The money will be distributed between 26 good causes supporting the armed forces, children, conservation, the elderly, art and sport.
A statement from the newlyweds reads: "Their Royal Highnesses are incredibly grateful."

NICOLAS CAGE’s former partner CHRISTINA FULTON has accused the actor of having a bad influence on their son WESTON, blaming the Hollywood star for the rocker’s recent hospitalisation.
The 20 year old was strapped to a gurney and taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles following an alleged violent outburst at a Hollywood restaurant on Tuesday (07Jun11).
The Eyes of Noctum star is said to have been subdued by police and later underwent a mental evaluation.
Weston’s mother Fulton, who began dating Cage in the 1980s, has been overwhelmed with worry for her son and spoke out about the incident after visiting him in hospital on Wednesday (08Jun11).
Fulton appeared emotional as she was filmed telling TMZ.com, "My son is in trouble. He’s in the hospital right now and he’s under some really good care so that makes me very happy. But I’m pretty p**sed off because his father - he’s affected by his father and that is why he’s in that hospital tonight. That’s all I have to say." Los Angeles authorities are investigating the alleged altercation at The Farmer’s Kitchen restaurant.

PARIS HILTON has accused the presenters of a U.S. talk show of failing to watch her reality TV series before criticising her work live on air in a tense interview.
The socialite came under fire from the hosts of The View during her appearance on the panel show last week (ends05Jun11) as they grilled her about her latest fly-on-the-wall TV project, The World According To Paris.
Whoopi Goldberg branded the show "fluffy", while veteran U.S. broadcaster Barbara Walters slammed Hilton for complaining about her community service, stemming from a 2010 drug arrest, during the first episode.
Hilton was visibly on edge during the chat, and was rumoured to have confronted producers about the controversial line of questioning after filming wrapped.
But the hotel heiress is adamant she did not suffer a backstage meltdown, calling the reports "not true", and she has now taken aim at the presenters, alleging they should have watched her show before making such public criticisms.
She tells E!, "I’ve known (Walters) for years, and I really respect her as a journalist. I know that she has to ask questions like that. I think she should actually watch the show, then she’d understand more… I think they hadn’t seen the show. They had only seen a clip where I’m complaining about my community service…
"You know, I’m not going to wake up at six in the morning and be all excited, ‘Yeah, I’m doing community service!’ I basically said it sucks, and I was being honest. I think they were offended by that, but I’m not really sure. I think (the feud) was really blown out of proportion. It wasn’t that big of a deal. I wasn’t screaming at producers backstage. That’s not true."

A representative for JENNIFER LOPEZ has dismissed allegations the star’s night out at a charity gala in New York on Tuesday (07Jul11) was marred by a dispute which ended in her chauffeur quitting and driving away.
The singer/actress arrived at the Samsung Hope for Children event in Manhattan in a car with her husband Marc Anthony, her sister Lynda and manager Benny Medina.
Subsequent reports suggested Medina fell out with the driver, who allegedly quit after dropping the stars off on the red carpet, but Lopez’s manager is adamant reports of trouble are unfounded, telling the New York Post’s gossip column PageSix, "Everything went extremely well. The evening was very positive, and a lot of money was raised for the charity…"

JARED FOLLOWILL feels lonely on the party scene now his bandmates are all married, because he has no competition when it comes to picking up ladies.
The Kings of Leon rocker is the last remaining single man in the band following his brother Caleb’s wedding to Lily Aldridge last month (May11). His elder brother Nathan wed in 2009, as did cousin Matthew.
And despite finding it easier to woo women, Jared admits he misses the camaraderie.
He tells Britain’s The Sun, "I haven’t got a wife. Now they’re all married, I haven’t got any competition. There are no fights over who has who any more so, as you can imagine, life is really tough for me right now.
"But I kinda miss it. I’m a competitive guy so that was part of the fun."
