STEINFELD’S ROMEO WILL BE NEWCOMER BOOTH
Little-known British star DOUGLAS BOOTH will romance TRUE GRIT actress HAILEE STEINFELD in a new adaptation of WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE’s ROMEO & JULIET.
The 19-year-old actor, who played gay pop star Boy George as a teen in a TV movie, has been cast as the male lead as the cast for the film comes together around 14-year-old 2011 Oscar nominee Steinfeld.
Variety reports Holly Hunter, Kodi-Smit-McPhee and Ed Westwick are also attached to the project, which will shoot in Italy this summer (11).
